Antica Pasticceria Artigianale Scutellà In Delianuova

Almond nougat, the most exquisite in the south.

Good evening, I discovered this wonder in early December and while browsing the internet it showed me that Pasticceria Scutella' is among the best in Reggio Calabria. I purchased the mixed 1kg pack of nougats plus two other small packs and in addition also the Gianduia panettone because I'm not a fan of candied fruit. When the package arrived at home I opened it and saw that the panettone was pistachio. By writing to the pastry shop I explained the mix-up and after a few days they sent me the famous Gianduia panettone without charging me and without asking me for the other one back. What can I say, very kind people and even the pistachio panettone was a sublime "discovery" like naturally the one at Gianduia. Unique and different from all the other artisanal panettoni I have eaten, equally fabulous nougats. What can I say, definitely recommended.

Ci sono tradizioni che vanno assolutamente rispettate e come ogni anno mangiare panettoni e torroncini Rocco Scutellà è come fare l'albero, il presepe, il pranzo in famiglia, i regali... è immancabile su ogni tavola. Rappresenta la gioia, un momento da condividere. Quest'anno abbiamo assaporato tra gli altri, il panettone al caffè accompagnandolo con una crema al mascarpone fatta in casa (come per il tiramisù circa) e devo dire che il risultato è stato fantastico! Ma non da meno il panettone all'albicocca o quello tradizionale....perchè Rocco non apri una pasticceria a Roma?? :-) Vi adoro....

Excellent customer service, very high quality products made like they used to be. I placed a pre-order of mixed ALMOND and CHOCOLATE ALMOND nougats in a 1.5kg gift box. When they arrived I found only 1.5 kg of chocolate nougats inside. I immediately contacted their customer service who apologized immediately and to make up for the problem they sent me 750gr home within 2 days. Of FREE CLASSIC ALMOND. What can I say, congratulations, you are truly fantastic. TOP❤️
