Antica Pasticceria Amarri In Reggio nell'emilia

What about Pasticceria Izzo, the stuff they produce is excellent to say the least, few pastry shops in Reggio can compete with Izzo. There is a sore point however, the elderly gentleman who makes the cappuccinos/coffees is extremely rude. I always go with my family, otherwise the gentleman would have to throw a table at him.

It will be the homonymy of the surname... an activity discovered by chance a long time ago with a strong reference to Neapolitan pastry making that intrigued me to the point of no longer having to miss other pastry shops. For me a fixed point when I pass through the Reggio Emilia area... the friendliness of Mr. Michele who I define as a great master of the ancient Neapolitan tradition and the close-knit family staff always at work, who keep the tradition and the level of their products alive . Guys, dads are unbeatable...

I purchased a pastiera for Easter, what can I say...SPECTACULAR! I didn't have time to photograph it, but I can assure you that in addition to being delicious, it was also beautiful. Months earlier I had bought some mignons and I was also satisfied with these. Congratulations to the pastry chef 👏🏼🥧 Very friendly staff.
