Very nice and charming environment, excellent and genuine food

I have been for lunch several times with my family. Let me start by saying that I am quite fussy when it comes to food. The more I go there, the more I am convinced that it is one of the best places I have eaten in my life. 5 or 6 first courses, 5 or 6 second courses, various side dishes and desserts. The food is all genuine and the quality of the dishes is really high. When you sit down to eat in this inn you have to forget about the rush, enjoy the company, the tranquility of the place, the good food perhaps accompanied by a glass of wine.

Decent food, efficient and friendly staff

I didn't stay overnight so I can't give an opinion on this but I ate well, the staff is very kind and the village is worth the trip

A magical place, hidden in a magical town

premetto che non ho l'abitudine di recensire ma , complice che era da un pò di tempo (anzi troppo!) che non tornavamo a La Canonica , questa è l'occasione per ringraziare Nicoletta e le sue maestranze ....padrona di casa che rimane sempre eccezionale (carina è dire poco perchè ti fa sentire sempre un'ospite speciale e non un semplice cliente) con attenzione a ogni dettaglio , cucina molto curata con ingredienti scelti e genuini , servizio eccellente , insomma tutto molto apprezzabile...è una fortuna conoscere da tanto tempo un posto bello e caratteristico come il vostro dove potersi deliziare come è una fortuna aver a che fare con persone gradevoli come voi (avercene !) ...un abbraccio da Daniele e Marianna e alla prossima occasione !

Siamo capitati quasi per caso in questo luogo suggestivo e unico. Ci siamo fermati solo per la cena, ma è stata un’esperienza che ci è rimasta nel cuore. La perfezione della semplicità e dell’accoglienza. Materia prima di alta qualità preparata con amore e cura. Luogo affascinante impreziosito dalla proprietaria affabile e di rara gentilezza. Ritornare è una promessa.
