Delicious restaurant located in the heart of the historic centre, excellent cuisine and wonderful space. I've been coming back here for years, always with pleasure. Highly recommended

I chose this restaurant to eat seafood for lunch, among them I knew there were vegetables, I didn't like the pumpkin flower because it was too oily, not that I don't like it - that's what Angelo understood, I'm sorry ...but it's good to take into account the opinions of customers, that's the only way to fix small mistakes. otherwise I liked the menu, the place and the service, especially, thank you.

Had lunch today, started with the owner's usual great courtesy. Menu: unforgettable warm seafood salad, you could smell the sea! Continued with an extraordinary, for the quality of the raw material, cooking and presentation of the dish, mixed grilled seafood and vegetables! Excellent ! Green apple and Calvados sorbet to round off this gastronomic experience! The Prosecco recommended by the house is excellent! I will return as soon as possible! Congratulations to Vito and his mother, an excellent chef!

Had lunch on 27 April 2024. Very positive experience (as always!) Award-winning seafood salad for the freshness of the raw materials and presentation, excellent Lucchese tordelli, baked croaker special for quality and cooking. Closing with delicious desserts. All washed down with Posecco Valdobbiadene DOCG. An experience definitely to be repeated and will be repeated...!

Premessa d'obbligo è che il giorno di Natale è un evento eccezionale quindi non ci si può basare su questa come unica esperienza di giudizio. Nonostante il menù ovviamente fosse imposto, a parte il filetto non proprio tenerissimo come mi sarei aspettata, niente da eccepire sugli altri piatti, dessert compreso. Quello che non mi è piaciuto in assoluto è l'abbinamento con il vino: il chianti classico che ha accompagnato tutto il pranzo, pur essendo di buon livello, era troppo superiore a tutte le portate e invece di esaltare i vari piatti li copriva sminuendoli. Sarebbe stato mto meglio continuare con il vino di apertura. Piacevole il moscato servito con il dessert. Da un locale di questo livello mi sarei aspettata una scelta migliore . Detto questo, come da premessa, è un ristorante da provare in un giorno anonimo con menù alla carta e scelta autonoma dalla lista dei vini.

Ho festeggiato il Natale in questo ristorante che tra l'altro è uno dei miei preferiti a Lucca. L'atmosfera e stata molto accogliente e il personale professionale ma anche cordiale. Ogni portata è stata squisita. Delicatissimi le scaglie di baccalà sul passato di ceci, la terrina di fegatini sulla salsa di frutti di bosco e tenero il filetto in crosta. Ottimo anche il dessert. La scelta dei vini mi è parsa bilanciata perché non era una degustazione. Grazie!
