All'Antico Vinaio In Milano

We went and checked out All'Antico Vinaio in Milan after hearing amazing things about it. We quoted for 50 minutes to finally get into the shop and order. Unbelievable sandwich. Has to be the best we ever had hands down. A must when you are in Milan.

You can't miss the queue but it's still worth it. Crushed for every mouth and also vegetarian. Try it to believe it 🤗

Tonight's visit was excellent. Don't let the line put you off, because it disappears very quickly and you can eat a great treat of flatbreadpizza/schiacciata.

Don't sleep on these sandwiches, they are the real deal. Mama mia 🤌

Run, don't walk! Went twice in 4 days, and tried "Il Paradiso" & "Truffle No #1". The focaccia bread is so fresh and crispy, it's the best I've ever tried. The filling portion is also huge. Totally recommend this to everyone. There is always a line but the queue moves up very quickly.

I saw this place on TikTok and saved it straight away. It didn't disappoint. If we had more time in Milan, we'd go again. We ordered Beatrice and Paradiso, but choosing wasn't an easy task as each focaccia on the menu sound terrific.

Guardare sul muro una gigantografia con tutti i VIP che hanno mangiato la loro focaccia fa rabbia, perché loro non pagano e non fanno recensioni e gli avete fatto focacce grandi e pienissime, noi paghiamo e vedere in mano ai nostri figli quadrati di 15 cm con 2/3 fette di salume fa riflettere. Anche perché i nostri bambini valgono più di un VIP e noi paghiamo e facciamo le recensioni. Il personale era molto “ musone “ ok le 19 del 31 dicembre, ma se sei a lavoro come tutti i locali di cibo e comunque con una giornata molto piovosa che non ti permette neppure di andare in giro, un mezzo sorriso lo puoi pure fare. Dalla cassiera ai ragazzi, tutti tesi. Il banco molto disordinato e sporco, insomma siamo venuti con tanto entusiasmo e c’è ne andiamo senza entusiasmo. Il sapore della focaccia molto buono, i condimenti pure, azzeccati come abbinamento. Qualche euro in meno l’avrei gradito, ripeto la focaccia piccola e poco condimento non giustificano 11€ a pezzo.

Bada come la fuma!!! Se però la schiacciata è fredda e dura come un panino di ieri come si fa? Dispiace scrivere questa recensione, dopo tanta attesa di provarlo, ma questa è stata la triste verità: ingredienti buoni, ma focaccia/schiacciata fredda! Che quindi non ha permesso di gustare la filosofia dell'antico vinaio come avremo voluto. Anche perchè per 11 euro a schiacciata... Spiaze
