Truly a nice restaurant. We immediately felt at ease with an excellent welcome. Very well stocked wine cellar. Attentive and very prepared service. Excellent dishes. We were offered some bitters at the end of the meal and we met the owner of this beautiful restaurant. The prices are more than reasonable and the place is very nice.

The view, food and wine were amazing. The service was also very nice and fast. The ambiance was very cheerful and felt like holidays. It's quite a popular spot so not easy to get a table outside but you can sit on the stairs if you don't mind and locals do it too. Highly recommended!

Quite normal meat, nothing delicious, slightly indifferent service and unpleasant atmosphere, too many people talking at the same time.

Amazing lamb ribs, pork ribs in tasty and tasty barbecue sauce with a mountain of potatoes. Excellent meat. Friendly and attentive service. Excellent choice of wines and grappas. Great variety of cicchetti. Real bacaro atmosphere.

Typical but not usual. Tourists yes but not excessive. Good meat, good wine, cicchetti.....I've found better. But lovely place. To try.

Wine cicchetti along the canal while watching the sunset is the best. Weekdays are recommended as it gets very crowded on Sundays.

We were there in December, a company of 4 adults 1 child. They do not take reservations so we were lucky to get a table. The menu doesn't have many choices but what they had on they mastered it. The waiter suggested 1 tomahawk, 1 lombatello and pork rib to share, mind you 1 portion min means 1.2kg which to us was way too much. I was really surprised! We decided on just the lombatello and pork ribs to share which was manageable. It was however the most amazing steak we've tasted, it was medium rare, tender juicy yet not bloody. Flavourful and once it hits the mouth you just need to have more. The pork ribs were fantastic and one of the best I've ever tasted! Don't even need any sauces, the meat is good as it is on its own!!! A wonderful gourmet culinary experience.

This place gets busy so if you're lucky enough to nab a table for wine and nibbles the staff get a bit jumpy unless you stay for dinner (which we did). It's in the northern part of the city too which is definitely worth exploring as this seems to be turning into quite a 'hip' area for younger people to hang out. This is mostly a steak place, although they have other stuff too, and the steak is very good. The wine was too although they measurements could be a little more generous, and the atmosphere was buzzy and cool. Overall a pleasant experience.
