Al Re Del Tortellino - Il Ristorantino In Valeggio sul mincio

Everything was fantastic, delicious dishes, handmade, excellent quality and great professionalism and availability of the staff. We stumbled upon it by chance, but we will definitely be back!

Three of a kind: - courgette tortelli, pecorino bacon and savory zabaglione - ⁠tortelli with Monteveronese, caramelized Cibolla and stracciatella - ⁠basil tortelli, buffalo ricotta and Confit cherry tomato We took this trio and I must say it is truly exceptional.. a restaurant promoted for service, welcoming location and food.. highly recommended!

A must place to eat classic tortellini (and more) in Valeggio sul Mincio! Very attentive service, the mixed platter is very good, but the real protagonist is the tortellini, if you are undecided which type of tortellini to get, there is a trio that you can choose yourself.

Food is good and local .Friendly and fast service

Small trattoria in Valeggio, where we stopped for dinner. Simple but nice atmosphere. We had dinner in the small, very characteristic cellar of the restaurant. We tasted the typical tortellini of Valeggio in broth and with butter and sage: a delight. Followed by guinea fowl with a side of baked potatoes and finally a delicious sbrisolona! Nothing to complain about the food. Really everything excellent. However, the owner's behavior regarding wine was undoubtedly questionable. We ordered a classic superior Valpolicella “Le sassine”, which we kindly asked to replace as the wine tasted like cork when we tasted it. Following our request, the waitress (a courteous and very cute girl) brought back an already opened bottle of wine. It was clearly the previously opened bottle of wine into which a different house wine had been decanted in the meantime. Very good wine, of course, but not a Valpolicella for €25 a bottle. If it weren't for this little flaw, it would have deserved 5 stars!

Highly recommended! Tortellini truly fit for a king: the traditional meat tortellini are good and the trio of tortellini of the day is absolutely worth trying. The sbrisolona is also excellent. 🔝

What can I say... very good!!! Everything absolutely excellent, cooked in a divine way, good raw materials. Located in the central area close to points of interest. Reasonable cost and excellent service.

Tortellini strepitosi, classici ma anche con ripieni innovativi. Personale davvero cortese e ambiente intimo e tranquillo con la possibilità di acquistare anche qualche piccola sfiziosità. Ci torneremo

Abbiamo pranzato presso questo ristorante il 4 Gennaio 2024, 2persone. Bis di primi, tortelli con cipolle dolci e tortelli con cacio e pepe, 15€/cad, acqua e un 1/4 di vino, due caffè, circa 43€ per due persone. Ristorante in piazza a Valeggio SM. La sala si sviluppa in lunghezza. Tortelli Ottimi! Servizio al tavolo Super! Molta attenzione al cliente. Forse il prezzo è leggermente più alto degli altri ristoranti in centro a Valeggio ma vale la pena fare questa esperienza! Da provare. Temperatura all’interno del locale leggermente troppo alta.
