The best restaurant in Catania! Everything is in generosity: tastes, quantity. I have never eaten such good fish. The anchovy dish as a starter was excellent. I strongly recommend.

Unfair rating of the restaurant 4.3. It should be much higher. We tourists came to Sicily to taste the fish dishes for which the region is famous. Having visited 5 restaurants with a rating of 4.8-5, we were already disappointed in the ability to cook fish in Catania. But having visited the Gabbiano restaurant, we received taste pleasure from fish dishes!!! Thank you Gabbiano, you have rehabilitated all of Sicily, at least Catania for sure. I definitely recommend it. Belissimo!!!

Location in zona centrale a Catania , ambienti non molto grandi , cucina classica prettamente di pesce , sempre fresco e ben cucinato. Buon servizio e prezzi nella media. Consigliato sia a pranzo che a cena!

Siamo stati 2 volte nella stessa settimana perché già dalla prima volta ci aveva convinto. È stata una conferma. Ci sono andata anni fa per lavoro , ora ci sono tornata con mio marito: siamo stati benissimo cucina tradizionale , pesce fresco, tutto squisito. Volevamo le ostriche ma erano finite quindi consiglio di prenotare sempre. Personale gentilissimo, sembra di mangiare a casa. Lo consiglio e non vedo l'ora di tornare! Consiglio antipasti crudi, io ne vado pazza. Tutto perfetto.

21/02/2024: Special homemade bread with sourdough, when I pass through here I stock up.
11/02/2024: If you pass through these areas I recommend stopping at this bakery. In addition to the bread which is delicious, there are cured meats such as cheeses and salami that are equally good. For those who wish, the bread is seasoned at the moment and to taste.
