It was brilliant to have used part of the premises and spaces of the oil mill to expand the business to catering and the direct sale of typical local products. Typical setting and informal atmosphere welcome you together with a small plate of boiled potatoes offered to each diner for the tasting of a trio of oils. Typical Cilento menu with a starter made from 0 km land. The cod with a puree of herbs and grass peas is also tasty and plentiful. Finally, the walnut and fig ice cream is sublime. The final bill is competitive for the area. Again for lunch out of season, worth mentioning are the lagane and chickpeas and the cicci maritati, typical dishes of traditional cuisine, unmissable.

You eat like God and spend very little. All the pasta is handmade, a pleasure; and the dishes are perhaps too abundant. Space for children, lots of greenery, the only flaw is the somewhat slow service.

Ritorno sempre con piacere in questo ristorante a San Mauro Cilento....ed ogni volta esco soddisfatto. Antipasti abbondanti e con materie prime ottime. Lagane e ceci.....zuppe.....verdure..... Ogni volta provo qualcosa di diverso tra quelli che sono i piatti tipici della tradizione cilentana e devo dire che in questo ristorante sono sempre cucinati benissimo.....solo sulla giornata di ieri (domenica) devo fare un piccolo appunto sul baccala' che ho trovato piuttosto salato..... Per il resto tutto buonissimo con prezzi onesti.

25/03/2024: 5 stars because I'm fond of it, I went there when I was at university when I was away from home. I still love cappuccino, although if it's a little too sweet, the croissants at 4 in the morning were old, but that's fine.

Trattoria al Portello

26/03/2024: It is a truly surprising experience, the sea in Castelcivita, excellent fish, fresh and cooked to perfection by the chef who seems to me to be from the Amalfi coast. A real surprise, I will certainly return and will certainly advertise for you.
19/02/2024: Fresh fish cooked with local passion, clean and tidy, I recommend it.
