Two friends and a nice dachshund, a Monday evening in February, bad weather, mountain road... You have to come to Verzegnis specifically. Yet at Il Fogolar, there is no shortage of customers. A positive signal. The fire welcomes you as soon as you enter and invites you to take a pleasant break. Whether, as we have chosen, at a characteristic table next to the fogolar in the Osteria, or in the typical restaurant room. The atmosphere is authentic, it is that of the right convivial meeting place where time stands still. The kitchen offers traditional Carnic dishes and more, all very inviting and prepared with quality. There will be no surprises on the bill, everything is clear on the menu and even at the counter there is no shortage of precise indications on the price of wines by the glass or in the bottle (this is not always correct in restaurants). And the cover charge is offered as indicated on the pretty placemats at the tables of the tavern. We liked it in every way. A wild Sella Chianzutan was worth it on a wolfish evening!!!

Wonderfully quiet place, hotel and restaurant very good. The rooms are nice, modern, with everything you need. Very good food in the restaurant, quite a small menu, but everything was very good. In particular the entrecôte - excellent!

A perfect Sunday lunch!! Excellent food, carefully prepared dishes and high-quality raw materials. Friendly, professional staff and they didn't make us wait any longer than necessary. Recommended for couples, families even with children!! Absolutely worth repeating.👍

Nice little place in a strategic area. We only stayed one night (simple rooms) on our way back from the Zoncolan after skiing. We had booked the sauna, which is very nice and suo generis. We were able to dine at the internal Osteria, added value and everything was delicious. Everyone very kind. Advised.

The reception staff were friendly and helpful in answering various questions. The fireplace stands out in plain sight, conveying a feeling of home.

Essendo del mestiere non posso far altro che complimentarmi con tutto lo staff del Fogolar dalla sala alla cucina alla proprietà. Personale di sala cordiale,preparato e pronto a consigliere il cliente. Essendo clienti fissi abbiamo potuto assaggiare tutti i piatti del menù e si capisce che dietro c'è amore e passione per il mestiere. Qualità della materia prima eccezionale. Noi 100km per cenare da voi li facciamo più che volentieri

Bellissimo posto. Ottimi piatti, molto squisiti. Lo consiglio se si vuol mangiare bene ed aiutare i piatti tipici friulani. Servizio veramente impeccabile. Personale disponibile e molto educato A pochi metri é presente un parcheggio gratuito molto ampio. Il locale si presenta molto bene, curato e accogliente.

Abbiamo pranzato in questo locale caldo e accogliente e con del personale gentilissimo. Esiste un menù lavoratori ma noi abbiamo scelto dal menù a la carte ricco di piatti friulani . Abbiamo preso un tagliere di salumi e formaggi molto buono , poi un frico con polenta squisito ,uno stufato di selvaggina buonissimo, un formaggio salato con patata e radicchio buono e un toC in braide cioè polenta morbida con fonduta di formaggio di malga con salame buonissimo è dir poco . Infine un buono strudel e un amaro. Tutte le porzioni sono ottime da dividere in due persone. Prezzi onesti .
