Great for an informal lunch with the family. The service is quick and the staff are friendly and courteous. The first courses are very good, especially the rosettes: crispy at the right point and without an exaggeration of bechamel. The desserts are also excellent.

Great spot for lunch. The cannelloni was excellent! Service was fast and courteous. Conveniently located just outside central Modena.

Dined here for lunch. Food was all freshly made and delicious. It is a bit tricky if you are vegetarian as all of their main dishes are meat based. They have sides of potato and spinach. They might be accommodating but I know very little Italian and they knew very little English.

Tipica trattoria emiliana, primi piatti speciali…pasta fatta in casa ottima, servizio accogliente e sorridente , prezzi di altri tempi! Ottimo! Consiglio vivamente!

03/04/2024: You simply can not get better cappuccino anywhere else in the world ......when you are the owner and musician and only you are allowed to make the coffee and put your heart and pride in making the very best cappuccino six days a week 8 hours a day , for more than 20 years that I know of , you will be the best in the world. Pastries are made almost hourly on premises. Wonderful selection and always fresh.
22/03/2024: For me it's a regular stop when I pass through Modena. A place from times gone by, chock-full of history as well as 1000 goodies. Very friendly owner and staff.

27/05/2024: Was there yesterday for communion and excellent soups as well as the second very kind staff
04/05/2024: Excellent tasty meat main courses and generous portions, competitive price. Business menu available, Podetto is among the few restaurants in the area open on Thursdays in the low season. We arrived a little early and, in addition to not understanding where the entrance was (from the outside the restaurant looked closed) we took the managers a little by surprise. Although there was a beautiful and bright room at the entrance, near the cash register, they made us sit in a second room, large but colder. Upon leaving I understood that they had chosen to seat the workers in the first, informal room, and the other customers in the second. At the next opportunity I will insist on being able to sit with the workers.
