The word that most reminds me of this lunch experience is "genuine": I felt like I was going to visit my grandparents in the countryside, happy to see me and offer me all the good things they had prepared. Fixed menu proposed by the chef, quality food at an incredibly low price. I recommend it especially to those who love simple, unprocessed food with too many sauces and salt.

We arrived at this small tavern, on the advice of an elderly lady we met in Calabritto. You don't go to this place if you're looking for a trendy place, obviously. You go there if you want to eat nutritious, tasty food that doesn't need to be overly seasoned because it's already good in itself. The menu is not free to choose, meaning you eat what the house offers you! We ate a homemade appetizer with cold cuts, cream of potatoes and more, 2 homemade first courses and delicious tomato sauce, grilled meat and vegetables instead of chips... water and wine included Total €20 each Advised For the food, if you are passing through the Calabritto area, and for the environment, if you are looking for places away from tourists and close to the local culture!!
