Sylvie, The Sommelier and Hotel Owner was really welcoming to us. We had flown into Malpensa and St Vincent was the perfect stopover en route to Cervinia. Sadly we did not get to dine at the Restaurant, which is tucked in behind the hotel, however Sylvie who was recovering from illness still managed to rustle us up a bottle of local wine and a cheese platter with bread. Room comfortable and town really quiet once the church bell stopped chiming at 10p! In the morning Sylvie prepared us a full breakfast and shared some information about the valley and what to visit in future. Look forward to our next trip when hopefully Sylvie’s staff will all be feeling better and we can dine a la table du Sommelier!

Characteristic restaurant, located in the center of the town, truly recommended for its excellent choice of meats and wines. It was a quiet dinner with friends, in which we shared an abundant appetizer of local cheeses and cured meats, as well as a perfectly cooked Florentine steak accompanied by some sauces (obviously separately) which enhanced the flavour. Exquisite staff. Advise.

We came across the restaurant by chance and as soon as the door opened we immediately got into the mood. The smell of meat cooked over a fireplace as well as the decor were there. We were really shocked by the taste and creaminess of our dishes. The charcuterie platter was excellent. It was just divine and extremely rare to cook the meat the way they did. Thank you so much

Albergo pulito e dotato di ogni confort. I proprietari sono di una gentilezza squisita. Possibilità di parcheggio gratuito nelle immediate vicinanze su loro indicazione. Il ristorante è molto bello, caratteristico e la cucina di qualità e merita una visita anche senza pernottamento, perché si mangia della carne ottima e si beve del buon vino, coccolati dal personale gentile ed attento. Ottima anche la colazione, servita nella sala ristorante e perfetta per soddisfare qualsiasi desiderio.

Clean hotel equipped with every comfort. The owners are exquisitely kind. Possibility of free parking in the immediate vicinity upon their indication. The restaurant is very beautiful, characteristic and has quality cuisine and is worth a visit even without an overnight stay, because you eat excellent meat and drink good wine, pampered by the kind and attentive staff. I'm sure I won't be disappointed with tomorrow's breakfast either and then… off to relax at the spa!

Ambientazione accogliente e tipica di questo ristorante ex-scuderia nel centro di Saint-Vincent. Il piatto forte è sicuramente la carne alla brace cotta nel camino della sala, verso la quale la scelta viene ampiamente ripagata. Certo, qualche opzione in più nel menu non dispiacerebbe. Servizio attento e professionale e conto sui 50 a testa.

12/01/2024: Cena di quattro persone con due bimbi piccoli. Mangiato davvero bene: gli adulti un flan di verze e vitello tonnato in antipasto e poi gnocchi e ravioli ricotta e borragine. I bambini del jambon alla brace con patatine fritte fini (les allumettes), che hanno finito leccandosi i baffi. Bevuto un eccellente barbera d'Asti di Vinchio Vaglio in accompagnamento al pasto su consiglio del proprietario, che si è dimostrato davvero cortese e simpatico. Ottimo posto che consiglierei per il rapporto qualità prezzo.

01/04/2024: During our stay in Val d'Aosta, we had lunch twice. We had a great time. Everyone is kind. Good food. I advise.
26/03/2024: Yes it has expanded and renovated, but it has managed to maintain the spirit of the old tavern, genuine and sincere. I had the tagliatelle with venison ragù, very good as I expected. Well done, keep it up.
