A Câ Dü Fritû In Albisola superiore

There are few places like "A cà du fritu" in the entire Ligurian Riviera. The food is excellent (all fried, obviously), the place is simple and welcoming, the owner is friendly and courteous. If you are in Albisola you have to stop by and let yourself be tempted by the countless delicacies. From fried pasta (ah, pumpkin ravioli!) to panissa, potato focaccia, pizzelle and the classic fried fish... Everything is excellent, fried perfectly and lightly. Must haves!

Siamo stati oggi a pranzo e vorrei tornarci anche questa sera. Locale piccolino, ma credo che in estate mettano i tavoli fuori perché c’è spazio per farlo. Tovagliette di carta e posate di plastica ( non adatte a tutti i piatti ad esempio per pulire gli scampi). Piccola accortezza ti danno subito la salvietta al limone per pulirti le mani ( cosa non scontata, in molti ristoranti la devi chiedere). Abbiamo provato diversi piatti e tutti molto buoni. Top frittura di pesce e scrigni di scampi fritti. Non avevo mai mangiato la pasta fritta e devo dire che mi è piaciuta molto. Nota di merito al Proprietario veramente molto gentile. Prezzi nella norma. Ps piccolo consiglio: togliere il pistillo dai fiori di zucca.

A happy place! There are many excellent dishes to choose from, both as a snack and for a complete meal and even for an aperitif. The fried panissa is a must, but I also fell in love with the soft and crunchy potato focaccia with sage and the crab meat pizzelle. This time we also tried the fried first courses and had a plate of pumpkin ravioli... Simply wonderful! The sweet and soft filling that combines with the crunchy and slightly salty dough sent me into ecstasy! All accompanied by the very nice and friendly owner. As soon as we return to Albissola we will definitely stop here.

For a quick lunch by the sea it's an excellent fryer. Relatively low prices and good quality food. I liked the closed anchovies and the panissa. The ravioli were less appreciated as they were also fried. Surely cooked as directed they would have been excellent. Fried ravioli, in my opinion, are an insult to the cuisine. Personally I would specify it in the menu - il While entering a fry shop, a customer never expects to eat ravioli cooked like this.
