26/03/2024: We went a few days ago, The location is very beautiful and well looked after. We had a "mistral" tasting itinerary with wine pairings I must say that the chef knows his stuff and everything is very good. I can't say the same about the choice of wines and their pairing, as well as some very unbalanced dishes. For dessert we had to settle for a glass of water because the tasting did not include any drink, with the hope that it would obviously be offered to us at a cost but this was not the case.

24/03/2024: Each dish presented was a true work of art, with fresh, high quality ingredients. The wine route is perfect. The attentive and professional staff helps to offer a friendly service. The environment is elegant and refined and creates a relaxed and luxurious atmosphere, perfect for a special evening. Ultimately, our traditional Neapolitan dinner was first-rate. I highly recommend it.

12/05/2024: The first time we were here to get a cuzzetiello they closed in our face... we arrived at 10.40pm and on the timetable it was written that it closed at 11pm, we go in and the clerk tells us, even in a somewhat rude way , "is closed". I wanted to return because this place had been recommended to me and actually the cuzzetiello is very very good and the classic one with meatballs costs only €5.

21/05/2024: The only pizzeria to visit in Paestum! Amazing food and service. The pizza choice is fantastic and the ingredients are so fresh. They also serve other kinds of food which is great for families. The staff are very friendly and helpful 5 star service. Our waiter was very kind.The reasturant is very clean and tidy and also has a little play area for children. We would recommend to visit this restaurant and will defintly be back with our family. Do not miss out and visit here!

20/05/2024: The pizza is the Cilento/Salerno one! Wide choice of flavours, from classic to award-winning! The fried foods are good and dry. Family atmosphere, excellent service! Avoid coffee. Parking possibility.

17/05/2024: An unforgettable taste experience. Location with attention to the smallest details, delicate and refined dishes. The study of recipes, the refinement of the ingredients. Il Papavero is the right place for a starry dinner.

15/05/2024: Excellent dining experience in an elegant home. Starting from the environments, we find ourselves faced with something unusual but pleasant: the restaurant is housed inside an elegant house which has dedicated a reserved space to each room, the tables distributed in this way make the environment more intimate and familiar, avoiding the "large room" effect, a really nice choice. Two gourmet menus are available, with as many wine pairings. The dishes are prepared using local excellences, often the ingredients are hidden or "disguised", leaving us the pleasure of discovering them. Imagination and taste in the plating, as you would expect from a starred restaurant. The staff is kind, prepared and never intrusive. The price is decidedly low for the quality of the restaurant, a sign that having a star does not automatically mean having to adjust prices upwards. Truly commendable. The restaurant is located in the historic center, however it is not difficult to find parking, given that there are numerous in the surrounding area. Absolutely promoted and recommended.

07/04/2024: We discovered this enchanting place via the Internet and as soon as we saw it we fell in love with it. We got married on 4 April 2024 and a few days after our wedding we continue to receive compliments from our guests for the quality of the food, the service and the impeccable organisation.
