29/04/2024: If I could give 10 stars I would. We came across this place while wandering around the Aosta valley a bit at random and never had a random choice been more appropriate. The place is quite out of the way, but going there on purpose and traveling a few extra kilometers is absolutely worth it. The restaurant is small, with a large fireplace and a warm and very welcoming atmosphere and you will be welcomed by the owner with such courtesy and kindness that you will feel like you have been invited to dinner with the family. We tried different dishes including appetizers, first courses and desserts and I couldn't say which was the most delicious. There are traditional dishes from the Aosta Valley on the menu, but also very particular and interesting proposals that are absolutely worth trying (an example is the black bread ice cream, I never, ever thought it would become my new favorite ice cream!). Everything is rigorously homemade by them with ingredients coming from local companies as the owner will carefully explain to you, including the very interesting wine proposals. In short... Highly recommended and I hope to return as soon as possible, it will certainly be the main reason for the next trip to Val d'Aosta!
