26/05/2024: After going a couple of times and having quite a good time I arrive on a Sunday for lunch alone and am told that they are fully booked when there are free tables inside and also outside!!!!!? Really good.

29/04/2024: Cozy atmosphere, usually a pleasant contingent of guests and really very tasty and fresh! Highly recommend!

26/05/2024: I recommend and highly recommend for the food, very good, with great research into the products served, for the beers, not the commercial ones you find around, but also sought after, but above all for the atmosphere you experience, the courtesy and the kindness of the owners who pampered us and kept us company as has never happened to me in a restaurant... if you are around Altopascio or surrounding areas, go and eat at the Magione del Tau. We will be back for sure! Thanks for everything!

20/04/2024: Very, very disappointed, I go in with my family and a dog the size of the palm of my hand and I am told I cannot seat you because you have a dog... Apart from the deserted place which remains for me, but then I say how boring could it be??? Anyone who doesn't love animals (kept politely) can close for me and if the place is deserted there is a reason... I believe there are only foreigners left in Altopascio, ask yourself a question and give yourself an answer

28/05/2024: Necessary premise: no parking problems along the street, many places are paid but after 8pm you don't pay. We went for an appetizer and pizza to celebrate a birthday. The entrance to the pizzeria is rather anonymous, the beauty develops inside with large and well-kept rooms. Both the starter and the pizza are excellent, a nice variety. I would define the service staff as fantastic, two very kind, patient, friendly and professionally trained girls came to us. Very good! I recommend this place!

06/05/2024: We had dinner tonight with friends, finding this tavern by chance and we were really impressed. The atmosphere is welcoming and the location is truly characteristic and beautiful. The strong point of the place is undoubtedly the cuisine: we had the opportunity to taste typical products and dishes with game with truly quality ingredients. Each dish was an explosion of flavours: it is a true culinary jewel...Each course was a pleasant discovery. The staff were polite, friendly, helpful, friendly and quick. In short... it is a culinary experience that we highly recommend to all lovers of good food. We will definitely be back.

01/04/2024: Young and well looked after place, excellent cured meats. I didn't give my all because the waitress demanded that we empty the tray because it was used to bring the food to other tables. And I recommend specifying what's on the cured meat platter, not everyone likes everything.
