02/05/2024: Trattoria as they once were with a fixed price and menu. The road to the ancient village of Pereta is absolutely worth it. True Maremma cuisine: 3 starters 3 first courses Sorbet 2 seconds sweet grappa and coffee logically water and house wine all for €25. I prefer not to describe the dishes (it would be diminutive) because you have to savor them and eat them, they are truly fantastic. We were really happy to have followed the advice of the baker from Orbetello.

29/04/2024: Typical Tuscan tavern. The food is excellent and the service exceptional, the environment is warm and welcoming. Prices more than reasonable. Absolutely recommended!

15/01/2024: We were at Orto 219 in 2020 and today. The house wine is very tasty and the food was again great with products directly from the property. Only recommended. The service and boss were super friendly. The boss can also speak English, which makes it easier if you don't speak Italian very well. We were also able to take our dog (old German Shepherd) with us without any problems. It is important to make a reservation as it is always fully booked. The three of us paid 110 euros today. Price performance is great. Thank you for the lovely evening.

10/09/2023: Simple but welcoming structure, the room was clean and very quiet. The mattress perhaps could have been a little more comfortable but they slept well; applause for the water in glass bottles and the kettle in the room; the genuine goodness of the breakfast and the great kindness of the owner certainly make it an excellent point of reference for exploring the surroundings. I will happily return and definitely recommend it!

06/05/2024: We are a couple, arrived for lunch at 1.30pm on Monday, recommended by a friend. Semi-empty place, we couldn't enjoy the view of the vineyards because the tables at the windows only seat 4 and if you want to eat there you have to pay a cover charge for 4 people (I repeat, the place is practically empty). Good food, but staff leaves something to be desired, rude. It's a shame because the place is nice and welcoming and the food is tasty. Sorry, but we won't be returning.

21/05/2024: The location of this accommodation is very interesting for those who want to stop for a few days in the heart of the Maremma. There is no specific itinerary to walk around, so I suggest moving by car. In May I found the rooms very humid and a few too many insects by the pool. The cleanliness of the sheets and towels was excellent, but the room was not. It should be considered that the windows were not all equipped with mosquito nets. I had to turn the air conditioner on hot to dry the room… Very friendly room staff, very friendly lifeguard. The most sore point was the food. Breakfast is totally made with packaged products. Not even an artisanal donut, so to speak... Buffet dinners for large groups highlighted several problems, especially for VEG eaters like me. Although it says on the website that the restaurant welcomes vegans and vegetarians, the only thing I managed to get was an omelette. Apart from the baked beans... Really too little. Not even a pecorino cheese typical of the area or at least a Tofu or a Seitan.

19/09/2023: Siamo stati in questa trattoria tipica del paesaggio maremmano,una cena tra amici per festeggiare la fine del lavoro stagionale. Tutti non conoscevano questa trattoria ma devo dire che ci ha lasciato tutti esterrefatti, dall’ antipasto al dolce tutto veramente buono di materia freschissima. Ci ritornerò sicuramente è lo consiglio a tutti (come hanno fatto a me)amanti della cucina maremmana. Ottimi prezzi.
