03/06/2024: We went to this restaurant following the reviews looking for a non-touristy place and that's what we found together with excellent cuisine, accurate service in an intimate environment. Practically in winter there are around seven tables for 5/6 people and in summer there are those on the veranda which I haven't seen clearly how many there are but still around the same places. We were kindly welcomed by the owner who, with the help of a young and expert collaborator, carried out the work in the dining room with care at a level that is often not found even in more famous restaurants. But the value of this Trattoria Taverna "very reductive in classification" is carried out by the kitchen where in addition to the main chef, the owner I glimpsed 2/3 people. Very well cooked fish and meat dishes of large dimensions and certainly with excellent quality ingredients with very well cared for plating. We were also very satisfied with the prices. We will definitely be back in a couple of days because some dishes left us with the desire to try them and also because our holidays will be close to the end.

04/03/2024: A wonderful little restaurant with a warm host who immediately makes you feel at home. The dishes are excellent, at their best. The wild boar goulash and the beef cheeks are a real treat. We also had roasted potatoes and, as a recommendation, whole Roman artichokes fried in olive oil (you can eat them completely with the stem!). The desserts are to die for, don't forget: Vin Santo with Cantuccini, the best I've ever tasted, made by the host's wife. An absolute culinary highlight! Thanks Emilio, we will come again!

07/05/2024: Sono stato in occasione della giornata dedicata al 100vini gruppo meregalli.Premetto che il menù non era tanto vasto ma chi è del settore capisce che in una giornata con cosi tante persone provenienti da tutta Italia era l’unica soluzione per rendere un servizio più scorrevole possibile e mantenere una buona qualità.Fatta la fila mi hanno messo in lista di attesa,eravamo due persone.Nemmeno il tempo di segnarci che in 8 minuti era già pronto il tavolo.Camerieri e proprietaria super disponibili e gentili nonostante la pressione di una giornata incredibile.Ho provato quasi tutto il menù dalla tartara di manzo con carciofi e salsa di formaggio(non ricordo se fosse pecorino),semplicemente fantastica e lo dice uno a cui la carne cruda non fa impazzire.Anch’essa da sola senza l’uso dei carciofi e la salsa di formaggio era incredibile per il gusto semplice della carne.Il mio collega ha optato per una variante di pesce,seppia e piselli,accettabile 6/10.Io ho proseguito con dei fusilli con ragù e carciofi buoni ma a mio avviso poco mantecati,sapore un po’ slegato,un po’ di burro e pecorino in mantecatura avrebbero fatto la differenza.Ho proseguito con una guancia e schiacciata di patata,sublime.Ho concluso con una cheesecake al cucchiaio 6.5/10.Ho apprezzato molto la gentilezza di tutti,complimenti alla proprietaria,caffè offerto,un gesto piccolo ma al giorno d’oggi è difficile da trovare.Complimenti a tutti.Tornerò in una giornata più tranquilla per trovare un menù più ampio e poter assaggiare un po’ di tutto.PS:Cantina molto ampia,abbiamo optato per un sauvignon Chille,se non ricordo male tarapaca,da amante del sauvignon anche sulla carne è stato molto di mio gradimento.Grazie di tutto. -Daniele.

01/04/2024: Quarta volta in questo fantastico ristorante. Location meravigliosa calda ed accogliente. Personale preparato, professionale ma anche socievole e simpatico. Cibo buonissimo di alta qualità al quale lo chef aggiunge sempre il suo tocco magico. Nonostante la pioggia, l’esterno è all’ altezza di qualsiasi aspettativa. Unica pecca!!!!! 25/01/2024: Ristorante con atmosfera intima e servizio attento e cordiale.

04/01/2024: Nuovamente in Toscana dopo alcuni anni, e nuovamente in questo locale, dove la prima volta era stata per me una piacevole scoperta (accompagnato da chi già lo aveva provato varie volte). Il buon giudizio posso confermarlo anche a distanza di tempo. Il locale d'estate ha un buon numero di tavoli in esterno (all'interno il caldo è abbastanza insistente, anche per via del forno dedicato alle pizze), dove è possibile cenare sui due turni proposti dal ristorante. Il menù propone oltre ai classici piatti della toscana (maremma), anche una selezione di proposte di pesce. A mio avviso tra le loro specialità (provata e sempre consigliata) c'è sicuramente la zuppa di moscardini. La cena si è attestata sugli 80 € circa (comprendente un antipasto, 1 primo, 3 secondi, 1 dolce, acqua, caffè e due calici di vino): a mio giudizio una cifra assolutamente in linea con la qualità dei piatti proposti. Il locale ovviamente è sulla lista di quelli che una visita la merita sempre quando si è in zona, perché non si sbaglia.
