01/04/2024: I was on my bike discovering the Lodi area. When I arrived in San Colombano I wanted to have a bite to eat. I found this restaurant by chance, looking at Google. I chose it as long as it gave me the idea that there were no problems leaving the bike.
Unpretentious trattoria with fabulous home cooking.
The plus is the super staff, super friendly and professional.
The asparagus and walnut sauce ravioli (handmade) were stratospheric, you could taste all the flavours.
For second I couldn't help but choose the lamb, given that it was Easter Monday.
All accompanied by a strictly local still white wine.
When you don't expect anything and you find everything you need: good food, friendly staff, super welcoming environment.

14/11/2023: Osteria della Piazza is a small restaurant of the highest quality and with many advantages. A refined but informal place, comfortable tables with the right amount of space between diners, attentive but not pressured service, a menu of a few well-prepared but traditional dishes. An enviable cellar, fair prices.
5 stars on everything, and if it were possible even more!
It's really worth taking a trip to this slightly out-of-the-way town just to eat here (and it's not something I write often!).
Unfortunately, Osteria della Piazza CLOSES at the beginning of December: the staff moves to a new location, IL PLATANO in Badia Pavese.
If the quality remains unchanged it will be a success.

24/08/2023: Beautiful place, welcoming place, very nice little garden, there are tables and chairs even outside in the street which gives the impression of being at the seaside.
No flavor disappoints, in fact you would eat them all... Both the owner and her employee are very nice, cheerful, friendly, they know how to advise you on flavors by explaining the ingredients very well without, like some who get annoyed, telling them, but they explain well... Highly recommended

10/03/2024: Pizza heavy and indigestible for me. Well seasoned, especially those with a stuffed edge, but with major defects. The biggest one is that they were too liquid, therefore limp and mushy. The seafood one with squids that are chewy and hard as rocks. In the San Giorgio restaurant I think the meats are much better, they looked good.

04/05/2024: Very good food, we ordered a carbonara, a marinara pizza with crunchy dough and a capricciosa. The carbonara is al dente and has a truly pleasant full-bodied garlic flavour, the pizza marinara is rich in tomato and has an exceptional dough (crispy and light) and the capricciosa has excellent ingredients and a dough rich in air and tasty. The waiter was more than kind, delightful, polite and professional. He was a guy in his twenties with glasses and a bun that tied his hair up. Too bad the atmosphere was noisy, some people had come to celebrate their birthday and we weren't able to enjoy dinner as we would have liked. However, the place is very elegant, with a pleasant atmosphere and rhythmic music.
We will definitely return, hopefully, with the same waiter and fewer birthdays.

15/01/2024: We spent New Year's Eve. Everything went well. The only flaw was not evaluating the service timing, in fact the dinner lasted well after midnight.

01/05/2024: Refined, refined and interesting food, but designed more for takeaway than on-site consumption. Atmosphere aside (the space is in a small shop, on the street and without an outdoor area, you can't expect too much), the plate service is paper cups (even for the wine... which I preferred to drink directly from the small glass ) dampens the palate. And it's not a place where you can stop for long because at 2.15pm they kindly point out that they are closing. Interesting prices but the menu of the day was not clear (although I had explicitly asked for a compatible combination, it turned out when the bill came that the mixed fried food was not: having cleared up the misunderstanding I got the discount, but it is always an unpleasant situation). Therefore not a tavern or trattoria (a shame because it wouldn't take much) but rather take-away cuisine.
19/12/2023: Warm and familiar environment, the dishes we tried were all excellent!
We had dinner on site, few tables (from what we saw they do a lot of takeaways) and helpful and courteous service.
Maybe it is not structured for large tables but in our case (2 adults and a newborn) everything was perfect.
Very good prices especially when compared to the quality of the food.

24/11/2023: You contact on WhatsApp and they don't answer, you call the various numbers... When they answer they first make you order and then they say "no, sorry I can't get there for this order"... "but sorry, don't you do home deliveries? Oh no unfortunately not in this case... NOT RECOMMENDED TO COLLEAGUES TRUCK DRIVERS

11/01/2024: Ci sono stato a cena con un gruppetto di conoscenti, la posizione è centrale nel paese e il parcheggio lo si trova lungo la strada principale.
L'ambiente è molto accogliente da trattoria ben gestita, ordinata e pulita.
Servizio buono e professionale.
Antipasti locali con salumi, e vari assaggi diciamo nella media.
Primi c'è molta scelta ed io ho preso il risotto col pannerone ( formaggio tipico della zona di Lodi) che consiglio per la bontà.
Secondo tagliata di manzo, cotta perfettamente e gustosa.
Ho saltato i dolci ma chi li ha presi era soddisfatto.
Direi per concludere molto buono per una trattoria che fa cibi della zona.
04/11/2023: Tutto molto buono personale gentilissimo locale molto carino ricorda proprio le trattorie di una volta l'unica cosa secondo me i prezzi un felino un po' alti però
