13/08/2024: We went to this restaurant for dinner with friends, recommended by the hotel where we were staying. Even though we hadn't booked, they immediately set up a table for us inside the restaurant, which was very nice and took care of every detail. Exceptional food, from the appetizers, to the first courses and the second courses, everything reflected the typical Roman cuisine. Definitely a stop to do if you are in the area, highly recommended!!

12/08/2024: I dined outdoors, the menu offered is anything but obvious. As a first experience we stayed on the classic: we took the Tasciotto starter, the fine fish and the truffled carbonara, remaining surprised at every course. To return to continue the discovery.

20/06/2024: Cercavo un ristorante giapponese di qualità superiore alla media, preferibilmente in zona. Dietro suggerimento di amici fidatissimi, ho provato. E devo dire, missione compiuta: bel locale, raccolto ma accogliente, buona atmosfera, personale cordialissimo, qualità decisamente superiore alla media di zona. Personalmente avrei apprezzato una qualità ancora più alta, soprattutto nei piatti più tradizionali, perché sono convinto ci siano i presupposti per puntare all’eccellenza. Ad ogni modo, nulla da eccepire. Promossissimo!

Leaving the motorway allows you to save money on both eating and filling up. The pizza is very good, there are different taste options. Excellent prices. Recommended stop

31/07/2024: Delicious pizza! We took two shovels, with capricciosa, mozzarella, croutons and mushrooms and sausage... One better than the other! The dough is halfway between the high Neapolitan pizza and the low Roman one. Nice crunch but also capable of retaining all the sauce and oil from the seasonings. The girls at the cash register were kind and welcomed us with a smile :) I will definitely be back

03/07/2024: Sono stato da Specus per una cena in famiglia e siamo stati veramente bene. Il menù presenta una vasta selezione di piatti, eccezionalmente cucinati da Alessio (chef del ristorante). La location è carina, elegante ma non troppo, contesto ideale per una cena come la nostra. In generale il ristorante offre un alto livello di cucina, come pochi nella zona. Ci tengo però a dare un piccolo suggerimento, ovvero di essere un po' più coraggiosi nella selezione dei vini presenti sulla carta: alcune etichette troppo banali. Al netto di ciò, ristorante super consigliato.

10/08/2024: I'm sorry to leave a negative review, because I've been to this place other times and the table has always been occupied by a courteous guy with much more experience, but above all tact, empathy and kindness in understanding my needs. Unfortunately last night, after having made my usual request to have a pizza with provola, because it is totally lactose-free, a girl brought me a pizza with scamorza, where the percentage of lactose is present and is very low. . The same one, very confused about the contents of the pizza, whether with provola or scamorza, when I kindly explained to her that it was important that she leave me the pizza with the provola, because otherwise I would have been sick, she left the dish at the table and after irritating replies and very unpleasant tones, goes to the kitchen. Not really understanding the problem, after a while she returned to the table to ask in a provocative way if I had tasted the pizza and the flavor of the scamorza was the same as the provola, if I liked it and if I didn't like it she would make me do it again the pizza, but my need was not really understood. The whole thing turned into sad theater. Unfortunately when it comes to food problems even small extra percentages make the difference, so all I had to do was ask and I would have gotten another pizza. We need to be tactful even and above all when, as in yesterday's case, a question is asked kindly and the answer cannot be given with a hostile attitude, because a girl did not understand the problem.

03/08/2024: Excellent pizzeria in Valmontone, friendly and helpful staff. The service was decidedly quick (it wasn't very full but that's okay). Good fried food, and the pizza is a cross between Roman and Neapolitan, thin with a pronounced crust. The condiments are also excellent. Prices normal for a pizzeria.

31/08/2024: Attirato dalla location, dal menù su The Fork e dal fatto che, passando da lì, ho sempre visto molte macchine, ho deciso di provare questo ristorante per una cena in famiglia. Ho prenotato tramite The Fork, richiedendo un tavolo esterno, ma all’arrivo ho scoperto che la sera il ristorante apparecchia solo all’interno. Ci hanno riservato un bel tavolo in veranda, che però si affacciava sul parcheggio e non sul bel giardino che possiedono. Quando ci hanno consegnato il menù, ho notato che era completamente diverso da quello su The Fork, sia per i piatti che, soprattutto, per i prezzi. L’ho fatto presente al personale, che mi ha spiegato che il menù su The Fork è vecchio e che lo avrebbero segnalato alla proprietà. Alla fine abbiamo deciso di restare comunque e abbiamo iniziato con 2 antipasti di assaggini di pesce a 21€ ciascuno, un souté di cozze e un po’ di salumi per i bambini con un piattino di patatine fritte. La carta dei vini era molto costosa, ho fatto fatica a trovare bottiglie sotto i 20€. Su consiglio del cameriere, ho scelto un bianco della casa in bottiglia, un Ottanese di Olevano, al costo di 14€, che ho gradito. Passiamo alle pietanze: il salmone marinato e il souté di cozze erano discreti, a mio avviso le uniche cose degne di nota. Il resto, per i miei gusti, era di bassa qualità e mal preparato. Da un antipasto di 21€ mi aspettavo ben altro. L’insalata di mare, secondo me, era completamente andata e l’ho passata agli altri commensali, che comunque l’hanno mangiata. Considerata la qualità dell’antipasto, che abbiamo mangiato più per fame che per piacere, abbiamo deciso di fermarci lì, perché dall’antipasto spesso capisci se è il caso di proseguire o fermarti. Il conto è stato molto salato: per 4 antipasti, una bottiglia di vino e un contorno ho speso 99€. Non è stato preso in considerazione il fatto che eravamo lì per il menù di The Fork e non c’è stato nessun gesto per venire incontro a un cliente che si aspettava tutt’altro. La giustificazione è stata che il menù su The Fork è vecchio e che l’avrebbero cancellato (peccato che avrebbero dovuto farlo prima). In sintesi, è stato uno specchietto per le allodole: una bella location, tante macchine che in realtà appartengono ai clienti del bar (non del ristorante) e un menù dai prezzi onesti che non corrisponde assolutamente a quanto offerto in loco. Di venerdì sera la sala era deserta, eravamo solo 4 tavoli, e due ragazzi accanto a noi se ne sono andati lasciando i primi nei piatti. L’unica nota positiva è stato il servizio, impeccabile, grazie al cameriere Giovanni, che è stato gentile, professionale ma allo stesso tempo informale. Insomma, se non fosse stato per lui, la serata già rovinata sarebbe stata un incubo. Mi auguro di incontrarlo in un altro locale, perché per quanto mi riguarda, questo ristorante è assolutamente depennato.

30/08/2024: Attirato dalla location, dal menù su The Fork e dalla presenza di molte auto, ho deciso di provare questo ristorante per una cena in famiglia. Ho prenotato un tavolo esterno, ma all’arrivo ho scoperto che il ristorante apparecchia solo all’interno. Il menù fornito era completamente diverso da quello su The Fork, sia per i piatti che per i prezzi. Nonostante la delusione, abbiamo ordinato antipasti di pesce, souté di cozze e salumi per i bambini. Solo il salmone marinato e le cozze erano discreti, mentre il resto era di bassa qualità. Il conto, molto alto (99€ per 4 antipasti, una bottiglia di vino e un contorno), non hanno tenuto conto del menù visto online. Inoltre, la sala era quasi deserta e due commensali hanno lasciato il primo nel piatto. L’unica nota positiva è stato il servizio impeccabile del cameriere Giovanni. Tuttavia, la serata è stata deludente e non torneremo in questo locale. Le tante auto che si vedono? Clienti del BAR e non del ristorante. Specchietto per le allodole!
