29/03/2024: We were there for lunch with two small kids. The chef was helping us with the menu since he spoke English. The food was very yummy and they were very kind and warm.

03/03/2024: There is no parking nearby. Place located in the centre. I recommend booking. Tasty dishes, revisited, not abundant. Yes, he prefers quality over quantity. Courteous service. Still old fashioned place. Medium-high prices.

05/04/2024: A gem in the center of Budrio. Small but welcoming place and excellent cuisine. The bucatini all'amatriciana is really good. The "Lecco" dessert is excellent with very solid cream and berries.

11/02/2024: Location in the center of Budrio, restaurant inside a little small but well organised. The proximity to the kitchen makes the room smell a little too much from the food and when you leave your clothes are full of this. Various dishes from pan pizza to spaghetti and second courses, we tried pizza and spaghetti, all very good. Friendly, helpful service with an eye on children. Medium-high prices. Parking nearby.

05/04/2024: Nice place, great service. The food partially satisfied me, the Chinese was excellent, the Japanese was nothing interesting. I took hosomaki and nigiri, unfortunately the nori seaweed was not crunchy and the sea bass was cooked. There were strange sauces on it and the wasabi was missing. By current standards it is a good 'Japanese' but it is too different from the original one. E.g. Uramaki don't exist in Japan, fried hosomaki don't exist, no one would put philadelphia or avocado in sushi. Finally, the star less (it fully deserves 4) for the incorrect food delivery order: First the 2 second courses, then the appetizer and finally the miso soup (tasteless) which in Japan accompanies the meal as a drink. Nice place, good food, so-so price, too different from real Japanese.

07/02/2024: Sale of ice cream in tubs is very incorrect as it is not sold by weight but by the number of people who should taste the ice cream. In a nutshell, a tub that is equivalent to 300 g is charged €12 which is equivalent to three people, i.e. three ice creams. You might ask how much does 1 kg of ice cream cost? Incorrect policy

30/04/2024: Excellent food, nothing to complain about. Too bad about the service: wrong dishes and ordering was really complex. We were a table and the place is certainly more used to small tables. I strongly advise against having dishes in the center of the table because the portions become really tiny compared to a single dish (comparison made with the same dish served at the next table), we felt cheated. I will return, but never in a group to see if the service improves in this case.

27/04/2024: Usually in this restaurant, during the week I prefer the fixed menu, but this time I opted for the à la carte menu. We chose the tortellini fried in parmesan cream, the farfalle, the tagliatelle with meat sauce and an excellent slice of chicken. Tasty and not cloying. Everything exquisite. Well done!!!

26/05/2024: Fine venue tastefully furnished immersed in the countryside of Vedrana di Budrio. Very friendly and helpful staff, good food and lots of choice. Emilian and Lazio dishes but also crescentine, pizza and burgers, accompanied by an extensive list of wines. Absolutely worth trying!

14/05/2024: Excellent welcome appetizer of crescentine, cured meats, cheeses, jam and honey..excellent first courses, plentiful and good barbecue, not special shanks, tongue with good Sangiovese reduction

27/03/2024: Siamo stati a cena di lunedì sera…molti locali nelle vicinanze erano chiusi e questo a parte il nostro tavolo era deserto. Nonostante tutto siamo stati accolti con grande professionalità dal cameriere che è anche molto amichevole e preparato. Ho apprezzato tantissimo il menu scritto sul quaderno simil-elementari. Abbiamk ordinato come antipasto degli spiedini di pancetta croccante che sono da provare assolutamente e dei Jalapenos farciti con formaggio(probabilmente comprati già fatti) senza infamia ne lode. Non avevamo moltissima fame e quindi il burger lo abbiamo diviso a metà…BUONISSIMO! Il pane era molto buono e la carne davvero succulenta. Da provare!

14/05/2024: Tipica e storica trattoria della campagna bolognese Straordinari i passatelli,molto buona la gramigna alla salsiccia. Buono il carrello dei bolliti (peccato per la testina troppo effetto gomma da masticare) buoni il purè e la salsa verde. Da migliorare tanto i dolci in cui solo la "sbrisolona" meritava. Nella terra del fior di latte vedersi proporre panna cotta traballante e budini anonimi sgomenta. Peccato soprattutto per l'atteggiamento della maggioranza dei camerieri più anziani che, definire burberi, è dir poco:non rispondono al saluto o lo fanno di malavoglia. Siamo ai limiti della scontrosita'. Discreto il rapporto qualità/prezzo. Ripeto:da rivedere i dolci e la scontrosita' dei camerieri.
