22/03/2024: We couldn't have started our first evening in Recanati any better than this! The place is very characteristic given that it is located inside a renovated period building where brick and vaults dominate. You literally dine by candlelight and at times an extra helping of light would be desirable to read the menu and the very interesting wine list which makes the Marche offer, with a fantastic quality-price ratio, its strong point. So let's start with the first courses: I order a little guitar which on the menu was supposed to be made with prawns and poppies, but which in reality comes with various seafood of a touching freshness and an exceptional taste. Superlative dish. My partner instead had very delicate flakes with cheese and pears and lemon sauce. For my guitars I drew hands down from the basket of homemade bread for the shoe that was a must! Let's move on to the second course: I had an exquisite lamb steak, while my partner had an excellent fillet with green pepper. This restaurant makes meat an object of worship! I say this in all sincerity given that after thousands of reviews this is the second place (the first is the Pitbeef in Milan) that offers the highly prized Finnish sashi on the menu! Stuff for enthusiasts. Fantastic and unexpected. I ended with a tasting of cheeses from the Marche region which saw its strong point in pecorino, including the slow food presidium from the Sibillini mountains. Among the surprises, the final offer must certainly be mentioned: a brandy? NO!, a coffee? NO! It was a bar of dark chocolate served on a wooden cutting board equipped with a blade to be able to freely slice it at will... never seen anything like it! The evening was accompanied by an excellent 2019 Moroder Rosso Conero Notte. Truly an applause experience.

22/03/2024: A restaurant which, due to the quality of its offerings and attention to detail, could take on any scenario... finding it there among the alleys of a village like Recanati is completely unexpected.

20/05/2024: On the A1 toll road, heading home from Milan, we googled trattorias that are open on a Monday night. This place came up, and it was WELL worth the detour! The food was simple but very tasty and rustic, and the service was impeccable. The location is beautiful too. We definitely plan to revisit.

20/05/2024: Locale immerso nel verde a pochi passi da Castelfidardo. È possibile mangiare all'aperto in un bellissimo contesto di prati e ulivi. L'interno è rustico e curato. Il servizio è veloce ed il personale è gentile ed efficiente. La cucina offre una buona varietà con pietanze anche vegetariane. La qualità delle materie unita alla cucina tipica marchigiana offre un prodotto di livello elevato. I prezzi, rapportati alla qualità, sono ottimi. Assolutamente consigliato!

31/03/2024: A historic venue with traditional "dialectal" cuisine and quality products at a fair price. Excellent food with ancient flavors which is rare today. We went there on Easter day full local not easy to manage everything perfect and fast. A courteous and precise service with Rolando a "host" and a great host capable of entertaining customers in an excellent way and making you feel at home.

16/03/2024: I was with friends at the now timeless and unsurpassed Rolando, who for decades has been delighting palates with truffle-based meat recipes We ordered a complete menu, the ravioli and game meat were divine, all accompanied by some excellent local wine The look of the restaurant has remained intact, frames of famous people and awards make this place one of the top dialect cuisines in the region Rolando and his children are very kind and make you feel at home, then as usual in some moments of the evening Rolando acts as a brief entertainer with some of his local stories that gave life to the dialect cuisine All perfect

22/02/2024: We stayed in this splendid family-run country house nestled among the splendid hills of the Marche region. Everything is taken care of, clean, tidy and well-kept. At the same time, the hosts manage to ensure that everything is done without the slightest disturbance or noise The kindness and thoughtfulness of all the staff is something that is no longer found nowadays. Fabulous swimming pool, hydromassage tub, gym, sauna, Turkish bath. All topped off with a high-level restaurant both from the point of view of the cuisine both from the location and from the guys in the room who were really very good. Excellent and plentiful breakfast with fresh products. We really felt at home.

02/02/2024: It deserved 4 stars if the waiter had done his job, abandoned at the table both to order and for the wine to arrive, a shame because the location is truly very beautiful. Breathtaking panorama. Food: delicious tortelli with sausage and broccoli, excellent pistachio cream, the other diners had a cacio e pepe which seemed more like a garlic and oil. Delicious cheek, it melted in your mouth. Too bad about the service

13/05/2024: I ate inside and found the place very nice and clean, I really liked the ceiling with the wooden beams and the stone cladding. The dishes are plentiful and of good quality, the staff are polite and knowledgeable. I found the bill commensurate with the products and services offered. I will definitely come back

The room attendant recommends and explains the dishes of the day, published in a pleasant way on the blackboard inside the room. Well-made Marche cuisine, accompanied by a delicious house red wine. The strudel with ice cream is excellent. I recommend it.
