Fantastic food and service. We appreciated the peaceful location and delicious meal after so much time in crowds seeing the sights of Rome. It felt like an authentic Italian meal and reminded me of the delicious food my zie cook me back home. Thanks to the owners for their outstanding hospitality. Restaurant located in Borgo Vittorio, near the Vatican and is appreciated as an internal environment (if desired, you can also eat outside). Very friendly service from the owner who knows how to recommend the dishes that best suit the customers' tastes. The restaurant has a menu that also contains Roman dishes but I frequent it to eat something different: Northern Italian cuisine. The traditional pizzoccheri, the beef in oil with puree (very tender!), and the apple strudel served with ice cream are delicious. It is rare to enjoy such a good strudel outside of Trentino Alto Adige and in particular in Rome. The wine list with primary brands is excellent. In conclusion, this is a place to visit if you don't want the usual Roman cuisine. Naturally, without considering the quality and adequate prices, it is not (thank God) a restaurant for passing tourists. To try.
