In the week spent in Genoa, the best restaurant: genuine and informal cuisine, but prepared with simplicity (the stuffed anchovies are super). I recommend booking.

Everything was excellent and fast, 2 of us arrived at the opening without booking. We were lucky they told me that without a reservation it is almost impossible to sit. We sat down immediately and ordered. I obviously took the pasta with pesto (I don't remember the name of the pasta) but it was still delicious. Accompanied by a truly excellent house wine. everything went great. I'll be back

It's a bit like mass production. But we were still happy that we were able to get two seats after a bit of a wait. The pasta with pesto was very tasty. Price/performance absolutely fine. The tiramisu with pistachio is also delicious.

If you are looking for the real trattoria, Ugo represents it in everything.
Excellent food and a lot of kindness, a very quiet and beautiful area of Genoa to walk around.

Perfect! How did I choose it on Google?
I eliminated all the posts with photos of "artistic" dishes, with curls drawn with sauces and useless little flowers next to skimpy portions.
Then I eliminated all those who make "revisited" Ligurian cuisine: revisit your sister!
Ugo remained and, very pleasantly surprised, he DOES NOT play annoying music in the room.
Excellent food, service and atmosphere.

Excellent homemade Italian food in the center of Genova.
Good treatment and reasonable price.
Particularly noteworthy are the pesto pasta and the fried fish.
The tiramisù is also very delicious.
It is better to reserve!

Abbiamo preso da asporto, da consumare in pausa pranzo, due piatti di pasta al pesto (trenette e trofie). Piatti molto gustosi, non ho particolari appunti da fare.

Conosco e frequento da anni questa antica tipica trattoria, ma non avevo mai avuto modo di mangiare il loro tuccu, che servito con dei ravioli (cotti perfettamente), devo dire è davvero davvero buono, a differenza di tanti altri che si trovano in giro. A seguire le immancabili acciughe ripiene fritte, che non hanno eguali. Bravi !
