Nice place with traditional cuisine, but with innovative touches. Exceptional nettle gnocchi, also gluten-free. Superlative fillets. Bill in line with the quality of the food. Highly recommended.

I went there following Genoa away, the place was filled with just us fans, I ate very well, perfect service, very friendly and a fair price. I would say I'll be back as soon as I can.

Ho prenotato un tavolo perché sapevo della qualità e storicità di questa trattoria. L’unica pecca è che appena entrato non c’era nessuno ad accoglierci o indicarci il nostro tavolo. A parte la prima difficoltà poi è stato tutto straordinario. Tempo di attesa minimo, qualità e bontà dei piatti eccelsa per non parlare del bel design dei soffitti e pareti, con in più il dettaglio fotografico. A parte la pecca iniziale del personale tutto perfetto.

Uno di quei locali dove respiri la tradizione. Esiste da più di un secolo e la sua cucina è radicata nel territorio toscano con piatti tipici e sapori antichi, oggi sono venuto per la prima volta ed essendo di fretta ho preso una scelta del menu del giorno: tortellini al pomodoro e pollo fritto a soli 13 euro ma la prossima volta sceglierò dalla carta che si presenta ricca di piatti di terra e di mare originali pur se con un occhio sempre rivolto alla tradizione toscana. Merita davvero una visita, senza fretta, e gustando anche i dolci fatti in casa.

11/05/2024: In the middle of a forest not far from the motorway toll booth we find a special place. Many welcoming rooms, a large grill and waiters with enormous Florentine steaks to grill. Lots of movement but never confusion, attentive service, impressive food in a rich menu for all tastes. Price appropriate to the quality. Very suitable for groups. To return

13/05/2024: Real street food style. When you see a queue of 30min in front of a stall, that is a guarantee of quality. I ordered a plate of lampredotto instead of a typical panini. Juicy, chewy, and NOT salty. The green sauce and spicy sauce are both great. The roast potatoes is a must-try as well.
11/05/2024: Loved the tripe in tomato sauce. Make sure you get chilli sauce with it!
