I felt good. The menu is traditional local and carefully prepared. Prices are fixed. Starters, first and second courses €10/14/15.

We went to this restaurant on Sunday for lunch, we ate very well, all the food they produced was delicious, all traditional Mantuan dishes. The two owner brothers are also kind and nice. We will definitely return and highly recommend it.

Siamo stati in questo ristorante domenica a pranzo, abbiamo mangiato benissimo, tutto cibo di loro produzione buonissimo, tutti piatti della tradizione mantovana. Anche i due fratelli proprietari sono gentili e simpatici. Torneremo sicuramente e lo consigliamo vivamente.

Trattoria AL CAMINETTO

21/04/2024: We've been there several times during the high season and have always been satisfied. Nice atmosphere, friendly service. Most guests seem to prefer pizza, looked good too. I tried trout carpaccio, excellent, the burnt rusks served with it would have been better left out, tortellini di carne was good, tiramisu was better in any supermarket. Will try the pizza next time. Prices are ok, pizzas are really cheap. But you can visit. I only rate what I have tested myself, other dishes may be much better.
20/04/2024: Very tasty pizza from the stone oven. We were there twice within 4 days. Great service, nice boss and great prices.

01/05/2024: Nice place, delicious huge pizzas, good fried foods and very kind staff.
16/04/2024: We got the pizza with the "Napoli dough" and I must say it was very good: deep, soft without being rubbery. The seats were a little small, but on a Saturday evening they were full of people. I would say quality/price good: 3 pizzas (+€1.5 for the dough), a drink, a small beer and a 1/2 liter weiss €53. I've seen several people take fish dishes, but I can't make any judgments other than aesthetic ones...
