Trattoria Magna Roma Paternostro In Palermo

Ci sono stata 3/4 volte, sempre mangiato benissimo. Piatto più buono: cacio e pepe! Anche gli antipasti molto buoni, dai fritti alla trippa, dal baccalà ai carciofi. Non consiglio i secondi perché a mio avviso i primi, serviti nella cialda di pecorino, sono il piatto madre in assoluto!

Very close to the Politeama Theater it can be an excellent solution for those who are nearby and want a nice Roman dish! The dishes are precisely those of the Roman tradition, well executed and presented. The dishes at the table should arrive a little warmer. An extra smile from those who wait at the tables wouldn't spoil the drink. I will be back but not on the weekend.

I was craving pasta carbonara and, not having time to cook, I thought I'd come here for a Sunday lunch involving other people too. We arrived early, almost at opening, because we worked in the afternoon and for this reason I appreciated the fast service. The only flaw was that I received my first course later than the other diners who all ate together, there must have been an oversight in the kitchen but in the end they remedied it within 5 minutes. However, the dishes were good, the flavors remain delicate when compared to the real Roman carbonara or the cacio e pepe that I ate several times in Rome, but with an extra cheese on request and also eating the wafer you reach the correct level of flavor ( at least in the case of carbonara) I found that the carbonara sauce was a little too smooth, I expected it to be lumpier as in the case of the cacio e pepe.
