Trattoria La Rosa In Assisi

All very delicious. Colorful, delicious and particular bruschettas. The first called "Cappellacci alla Marius" was a total taste experience. I would love to try the whole menu!! Very kind staff. Very adequate quality/quantity-price ratio.

This is a restaurant with comfortable prices, atmosphere, and friendliness for dining with the family.

We were hungry in Assisi. We were looking for a good restaurant that is not very touristy. The restaurant is located in a side street close to the church. We arrived at the parade and were greeted with a smile. We were seated and we saw local people around us. We ordered three "menu". One of pizza that included margherita pizza, bruschetta and a drink. Another meaty one that included tomato pasta and meat in a mushroom sauce alongside potatoes. And the third and last one was vegetarian and included eggplant parmesan (eggplant, tomato sauce and cheese) and pasta with vegetables. The three menus were excellent, fresh and hot! The price was fair and much cheaper than touristy restaurants found in Assisi in the ancient part. In short, very highly recommended and the service is good!

A nice place to return to often

Arrived from Lucca to Assisi, The only reason to return here is for this restaurant, fantastic food and large portions, many choices of drinks, perfect service.

This is a truly local restaurant. We were the only tourists there. (People eating often said hello to people passing by over the fence.) However, I was able to have a comfortable meal thanks to the staff who were very friendly to tourists. The menu I ordered was pork + mushroom dish and ravioli. The pork had a texture like boiled pork, a Korean dish, and the savory flavor of the truffles reminded me of pork ribs. The ravioli was nice and soft. Overall, it wasn't too salty and was just the right amount of filling, which was nice because the price was cheap. I also liked the cute interior design.

The food was fabulous as was the service!

Ci sono andato venerdì sera con i suoceri su consiglio delle suore di casa Nazareth. Come arriviamo (21.35) ci viene detto che la cucina è chiusa. Rimasto male, cambiamo ristorante e mi preparo a lasciare una recensione negativa (appena tornato a Roma). Due giorni dopo, ci passo davanti con mia moglie e mia figlia di 8 mesi e vediamo che dentro c'è una persona a mangiare. Spinto da lei (se fosse stato per me non ci sarei andato) entriamo e chiediamo se c'era la possibilità di mangiare e ci fanno subito accomodare. Immediatamente, visto anche la presenza della bambina, viene la signora a prendere l'ordine e ci racconta che nei giorni precedenti erano stati con il forno guasto e costretti a dire a tutti che la cucina era chiusa (perdonati). Iniziamo subito con le richieste per far mangiare subito la bambina e nonostante fossero tante(una ciotola con dell'acqua, troppa acqua se se ne poteva avere di meno, un po di parmigiano, un pò di olio, un cuscino per il seggiolino e così via.....lo so, abbiamo stressato la signora) lei sempre col sorriso a dirci si. Abbiamo mangiato non bene, di più, l'antipasto era buonissimo, i due primi scelti eccellenti e i dolci meritevoli. Il conto nella media. Lo consiglio a chiunque si trovi nei dintorni di Santa Maria degli Angeli
