A trattoria 15 minutes from the center of L'Aquila, I highly recommend it, because the food is homemade, plentiful and excellent. The super welcoming owner who drives excellent service! 5 stars on everything!

Mr. Franco is a wonderful person, pleasant company during the meal and a customer-focused host. Homemade cuisine but of a higher level. The appetizer deserves a separate chapter as a symphony of flavors and richness of courses never seen before!! I really hope to be able to return in the future. In the meantime, thank you Franco for welcoming us

Excellent lunch. The appetizer is original and plentiful. The first courses are exceptional and the meat is Oscar-winning! The owner is unique and welcomes you with simplicity and kindness. Absolutely worth trying. 10+

I'm posting the review while I'm eating at this restaurant because it's really good. We're here for Easter Monday and we're eating really well. Fast service despite the particular day, quality food and very kind and friendly owner. Highly recommended

Tipica trattoria abruzzese a gestione familiare. Tutto buonissimo. Da provare pasta all'uovo con guanciale pecorino e tipico spinacio locale. Ottimo rapporto qualita' prezzo.

Trovato per le stelle su. TripAdvisor, di fretta entriamo all'una e usciamo, con molta calma, alle tre. Antipasto della casa, ottimo e molto abbondante, oltre cacio e prosciutto anche polenta polpette pizze fritte e fagioli, anche un mio collega disgraziatamente vergano, ha trovato i suoi broccoli Ma la cosa migliore sono stati i tonnarelli ai vollaci +difficile riprodurre un suono che indica spinaci selvatici da stazzo di alta quota): il piatto che meritail ritorno. Franchino, proprietario che serve e consiglia in sala é gentile e di buona conversazione. Un vero piacere

05/02/2024: We visited Scanno for the day last Saturday and stopped for lunch at the Porta. We booked an hour in advance, but being February we easily found a place, in other periods I don't know because the place is really small, but for this reason it is also welcoming and I also liked the interaction that Mrs. Bice (I think she is the owner) manages to create among the various customers by describing the traditional dishes they serve. There were two of us and we had two first courses, two second courses, a side dish, a dessert, water, beer and coffee, and we spent the right amount for a meal like this (€67). The menu is daily, changes according to seasonality and serves traditional dishes, for example we had the cazzinicchi with foie and some really good spaghetti alla guitar. Advised!

21/03/2024: We stopped on the way back from Rome to have lunch and even though it was already 2.30pm they welcomed us and served us with the utmost courtesy and helpfulness. We had lunch with a delicious starter and rich grilled meat....highly recommended
