Tip: We went to try their food after visiting a museum around 4:30 PM so it was not busy at all and we didn’t have to queue. Try to avoid peak hours.

I had high expectations, after reading the positive reviews. the first courses: overcooked pasta, undercooked sauce, zero bacon and what little there was was not crunchy (both amatriciana and carbonara)... Unfortunately, a real disappointment. The second course (sliced beef) left something to be desired. I won't go back, despite the kindness of the staff.

We had dinner 4 night this week at the Trattoria Della Stampa the food is excellent and the atmosphere and care from the staff is exceptional i highly recommend a visit to this restaurant.

As I was passing by, I happened to see a lot of customers, so I was curious about the taste, so I went in and tried it. It's hard to eat during dinner time if you don't make a reservation, so I ate it at lunch, and the pasta wasn't salty and was delicious. It's a steamed dish that looks like spinach greens, but you can salt it a little instead. We were satisfied.
100% recommended & Korean mom approved 😂 we have been eating pastas here and there but nothing has been satisfactory. We have been disappointed many times. Mostly they were too salty for our taste (trust me, I love salty food, but sodium has been overwhelming in various pastas we have eaten in Rome) . We ordered shrimp pasta and meatballs with potatoes. Seasoning was just on point! Ingredients are very fresh. Quantity was more than enough. We left empty plates. Now my mom wants to come back for next week to try different pastas.

Tipica trattoria romana nella quale però , tengo ad evidenziare, non si snaturano le pietanze per darle in pasto ai turisti! Si mangia bene e nei piatti si ritrova la cucina tipica romana! Carbonara e amatriciana squisite, porchetta di Ariccia non mi ha fatto impazzire poiché riscaldandola ha perso un po’ le proprie caratteristiche. Sai che vi dico? Forse fredda sarebbe stata più appetitosa!
Conto nella norma, servizio informale ma attento. Bravi.
