Exceptional spelled soup, I ate 2 dishes of it. Friendly waiters. The rest of the family was also satisfied. Fair price Compliments.

Typical Tuscan restaurant, good food (I recommend the tortelli with meat sauce) and very affordable prices. The service is fast but perhaps due to overcrowding, the place is a bit noisy... I recommend it and I would definitely go back if I were to return to Lucca!

It is the ideal trattoria if you happen to be in Lucca. Typical dishes of Lucca and Tuscan cuisine at decent prices in a rustic but pleasant environment. Fast and attentive service.

I was in Lucca and they recommended this restaurant to me...reading the menu on the site I saw that there was the Frantoiana soup that I had wanted for a long time but with regret it wasn't there and the whole menu proposed in my opinion was nothing of what. I took some smoked tortelli, good and as a second course some cotechino with cannellini beans which I had to fill with salt, pepper and oil to give it a bit of flavour. Average price and service, discreet location.

Storica trattoria molto conosciuta non solo nel Lucchese. Ambiente cordialissimo, personale gentile, attento e veloce, cibo ottimo. Consigliata la minestra di farro.

I finally returned to Da Leo after visiting Lucca, for the first time in four years, The food, ambience and service was just as good as I had remembered it . It seems to be frequented mainly by local, which obviously speaks volumes . The food is best described as traditional home cooking and is copious and extremely flavoursome. We shared two antipasti one of cold meats and cheese and the other of crostini with mixed toppings. Everything was perfect. We then had veal in pepper sauce , roast ribs with oven, cooked potatoes, penne with a really rich Gorgonzola sauce, and some excellent ravioli with ragu. It was all superb. The house wine is good and very reasonable in price, and the service extremely friendly . I shall definitely be back !

Nos sorprendió este restaurante con comida casera muy rica y bien de precio. Muy buen servicio! Para ser en un sitio tán turístico como es Lucca está fenomenal! Lo recomiendo!
