I had lunch in this historic trattoria in Ancona, but unfortunately I wasn't particularly impressed. The appetizers I tasted didn't impress me: 2 croutons with 1 anchovy and 3 slices of smoked salmon with spinach leaves and raw peas. As for the first courses, the tagliatelle with squid ragù were in broth....it was enough to stir and add more sauce - which had very little fish - and the tagliatella didn't seem like fresh pasta to me. The homemade bark (like long cavatelli) is good with a really (too) simple sauce of anchovies and sweet and sour onion. I didn't have a craving for dessert... with a mini bottle of Verdicchio we spent €30 each. Friendly staff.

I don't usually write reviews but this time I'll make an exception. From the first time I entered Trattoria Clarice it immediately became my favorite place: small, cozy, comfortable environment, soft and pleasant background music, menu of few but exquisite courses that follow the seasonality. What else to say other than "long live Trattoria Clarice"!

The trattoria that any traveler would hope to find in their wanderings. Uncommon hospitality, excellent food, adequate prices, perfect music. The managers are human beings and not shopkeepers. Thank you very much, I recommend.

The classic Italian tavern with host in tow, everything is perfect, nothing sophisticated but cooked with love. The wine well presented by the good host 👏 👏👏 strength and courage we will arrive in May

06/04/2024: Pros: affordable prices Courteous staff Cons: pizza 🍕 medium-low level Ingredients on "cheap" pizza Low level service Room/large room without style Poor atmospheric interior lighting The entrance to the pizzeria and the place in general requires maintenance Pizzeria like those of 40 years ago, without frills, in fact the chairs are from over 40 years ago, if I remember correctly the place is entirely as it was originally opened by Michele... in fact a nice "heavy" refresh in the interior furnishings and everything would fit in the external structure and it is now shaken. In the end we can say that if you are looking for an excellent pizzeria it is NOT the place to recommend to pizza lovers 🍕 but for once in company you can also go

Caffe del Teatro

01/04/2024: Passing through on holiday, we visited Ostra and stopped for an aperitif in this little place! Thanks to the good temperatures we decided to sit outside. What can I say, excellent atmosphere, excellent attention to our two children, excellent aperitif and top quality piadina! But above all, the owner and his mother were very pleasant, we had a chat that lasted the whole evening!
30/03/2024: Nice and professional bartenders, family atmosphere, outdoor tables on the square and behind a fantastic view, good quality products, the best bar in Ostra.
