Very nice restaurant quite close to the center of Florence, recommended to us by the staff of the hotel where we stayed. Our experience was excellent, we shared an appetizer, Florentine steak, wine and dessert and we had a great time. Absolutely excellent value for money, and very friendly and helpful staff.

We ate on the little terrace they have and it is the typical one with very cute checkered napkins.
The service was good and the food… incredible, if you go I recommend the gnocchi with truffle, they were delicious! We also loved the rest of the dishes but the gnocchi were so creamy…

I spent 10 days in Italy and this was my favorite restaurant!
Impeccable service, cheerful and fast-paced staff. Typical and cozy atmosphere.
They offered the aperitif, which I liked so much, that I asked for a glass. It wasn't even on the menu but they gave it to me!
The food was very surprising. A delight.
And to finish, I definitely recommend the limoncello.

Price quality ok considering the average of other places.
Simple but pleasant dishes, kind and cheerful waiters!
We took various meat dishes and were satisfied!
€120 for 4, a first course, 3 second courses, 1 starter, 2 waters, 1 quarter of wine and 4 desserts.
The only insufficiency was for the pumpkin and truffle gnocchi, (€12 or 15, I don't remember) not that I expected the most sophisticated white truffle, but they were really flat, luckily the meat dishes revived the dinner!

The real Italy is here. Classic Italian cantina atmosphere, fantastic food and quality service. I recommend the gnocchi and also the steak tartar with truffles.

Comida maravilhosa e atendimento formidável!
Pedimos uma bisteca (t-Bone) e estava maravilhosa, ponto correto e extremamente bem temperada.
Além disso pedimos noque e bolonhesa.
Típica comida italiana familiar e bem temperada!

La trattoria Cesarino è una garanzia. Ci sono stato parecchie volte nei miei viaggi a Firenze e non sono mai stato deluso. Qualità del cibo ottima, servizio cortese e qualificato, ambiente semplice ma conforme alla proposta di ristorazione. Appena fuori dal centro di grande flusso turistico, ma non più di tanto, la trattoria Cesarino ti offre una cucina fiorentina ben radicata nella tradizione senza eccedere in menù eccessivamente ricchi ma con un frequente ricambio di proposte. La carne e squisita. Ottimo il rapporto prezzo qualità. Anche raffrontato con altre simili offerte Cesarino vince. Chi vuol provarci non resterà deluso. Bravissimi a tutto lo staff.
