Trattoria Boboli In Firenze

Stumbled upon it by chance, excellent food and friendly staff

Every time I pass through Florence I invariably stop, for lunch or dinner, in this trattoria, located just a stone's throw from Palazzo Pitti. The place is really beautiful and well looked after, the food is of excellent quality and the service is excellent, with great attention to the customer. Definitely a place I recommend trying.

Truly a pleasant discovery. We went to this restaurant after reading the excellent reviews, and I must tell you that it far exceeded expectations! Excellent quality food, more than fair waiting times and a less than friendly staff. Thank you very much to all the staff for the wonderful experience. We will be back for sure!

Very sweet place. We didn’t eat a lot but just took several bruschettas that were very tasty. Panama cotta was tasty. However we would prefer without any sauce. There are nice terraces, friendly staff and good aperol :)

Ideally located, this restaurant checks all the boxes. Excellent Italian cuisine, very warm reception.

Service was great. Servers were attentive and they paced the meal well. Also a cute little place. That said, the food was disappointing. This place caters to tourists and it shows. Everything tasted like it was mass produced. We had basic Pomodoro pasta with burrata and a rigatoni with meat ragu. The pomodoro sauce was bland and still had whole tomatoes from the can; bolognese sauce was ok- not great. Had to add salt. They brought out cheap Parmesan cheese and I added that, too - it helped - but the food has none of the fresh, light up your palate, flavors we had elsewhere. Bread wasn’t great. For an appetizer we had the eggplant with pesto, tomato, burrata and tostini. It was ok- pesto wasn’t any better than I can get from a jar. Would not recommend this place- a lot of much better restaurants in Florence.

I had made a reservation for this place for 8:00 pm on 9/5/2023. Arrived and seated promptly at a nice table. Place is busy. We started with a bread basket. For drinks it was the usual. Beer-larger size Dolomiti-for my husband and wine-glass of chianti Rufina Riserva-for me. Side salad to share. We both ordered what was indicated on the menu as a best seller. Pici alla sensi. This was a homemade pasta with pomodoro/tomato sauce and a dollop of burrata cheese. We also ordered a side of spinach. Everything was cooked just right. Menu has a good variety of options. Food and service were great. Cost of dinner was 39.50€/$42.70.

Locale giovane e dinamico, personale cordiale con un servizio rapido. Carne di tutti i tagli e di buonissima qualità, vengono serviti i principali prodotti della cucina toscana ed italiana in genere. Conto centrato, con the fork davvero una bella sorpresa.
