Great address! We only ordered a dish and a bottle, we had a free aperitif, as well as a portion of dessert with a digestive. The food was delicious and on top of that the atmosphere was super nice.

Quando sono tornato a Venezia,Non ho potuto non fermarmi di nuovo alla trattoria il gazzettino.Tipica cucina regionale. Si mangia benissimo soprattutto il pesce. Tutti i piatti sono favolosi e i dolci super. Abbiamo bevuto un raboso veramente buono . Prezzi giusti e alla fine offerto la grappa con l uva passa e biscotti . Tappa obbligatoria per mangiare a Venezia.

Nous avons eu la chance de trouver une place car cette trattoria ne désemplit pas. Personnel très accueillant et bons plats de pâtes. Prix correct et grappa ou limoncello offerts .

19/05/2024: Top, I was going to have a pizza, but the waiter's passion for the dishes made me discover something else!!! Wow that was good!! Thank you for the welcome and the time to chat!! Ciao
18/05/2024: When traveling, you can be sure that you will encounter an unpleasant person at one point or another. It's done ! The owner (the one who speaks French) of this restaurant was perfectly odious from start to finish. My mother asked me at one point if this was an artistic performance? Maybe... The rest of the staff, on the other hand, were charming, smiling and polite. I wouldn't want to work for this man. Otherwise the pizzas are good 😇

09/03/2024: Our favorite meal in Venice. It does not feel overwhelmingly fancy, which is exactly the appeal. A mother/son/daughter combination were our servers on the evening we were there, and you could tell they took pride in the menu and in making great recommendations. We took a recommendation on the zucchini fritters for an appetizer, which we never would have gotten otherwise, and they were great. The pasta was incredible, as was the seafood. And the chocolate cake...we almost passed on dessert and that would have been a grave mistake. There are some restaurants in Venice where you can tell they are just tolerating the tourists. This is not one of them. We felt we were being welcomed into someone's kitchen. We will definitely return.
30/10/2023: Excellent in the new location as it was in the old one (across the street). A truly remarkable restaurant with excellent food, service and ambience. I strongly recommend the "fritto misto" which is probably the best you'll ever taste in your life.
