Una gradevole serata, una buona cena a base di pesce, ottimo servizio in un’incantevole atmosfera tra mare e tramonto.

After a few calls to the other interested trabocchi which were fully booked, finally found place in this one (plus being one of the cheapest ones, others costs an average of 10-30 euros more each person). This shack isn’t the most spectacular one but it was just an experience to have a meal in one of these places. The inside is quite simple, full of tables, very simple not that good-looking like other ones if taking the time to compare each of them. The best tables (by the sea) are the ones to be gone first so the same applies to the ones close to the fishing net. We were appointed to seat by the entrance which we didn’t appreciate, we pointed out that there were tables available with water view but we were told that those were reserved. Service was acceptable, dishes were good, all seafood, seems that they work with a catering from the outside(*), even though there is a small kitchen but consider that still is a fishing shack with not much space to house how a proper kitchen must be. As mentioned before, the menu here is cheaper than the other fishing shacks but if looking those extra specials (reason why pay a little bit more) like more tables with water view, more outer sea (this fishing shack is closer to the shore), ambiance, customized dishes, attentive eye-pleasant details, glass floor panels which allow a glimpse underneath the fishing shack, for a one-time experience, we could had gone to one of those. (*) spoke with a local, food from outsider catering is done to many fishing shacks of the area however not all of them.
