We were walking on the path between Gard and Bardolino and found this place to stop for a quick snack. We split the meat & cheese tray and it was quite large-the perfect amount for us to share. We had a seat outside facing the lake and it was a beautiful area. We got a container of chips before our food came out that were kind of stale but the meat and cheese were fresh and delicious.

Eine Strandbar mit Charme; einer der schönsten Plätze am See. Das Essen ist gut, wenn auch nicht herausragend, aber die Location macht das weg. Sehr gerne wieder

There is such a special atmosphere in Pienza. And nothing better than relaxing at Bar II Castello with a delicious pizza and a nice cup of coffee! And then you walk outside and see that view… Amazing!! 👌

30/10/2023: I had known about this place for some time, given that my family is originally from Minerbe, but I had never happened to go there to eat. The opportunity was given to me by family members who had already experienced it positively. The restaurant has been recently renovated, with a pleasant and modern taste. Very friendly and fast service. Personally I appreciated the pumpkin tortelloni and as dessert the famous millefeuille from the Perbellini pastry shop. Other worthy dishes are the risottos and fried fish, truly delicate and abundant. There is also a pizzeria service. I will definitely be back!

27/03/2024: Great location, unfortunately empty because it's the low season. Great food, lots of space, large selection. Nice service and generally just nice.
