We had a fantastic dinner at this spot! The atmosphere was buzzing with great vibes and lively energy, enhanced by wonderful live music. If I had to sum up the whole evening in one word: Wow!
The food was absolutely amazing. We were welcomed into a warm atmosphere. You could see that the waiters/waitresses really enjoy their job. The food was very tasty and regional! Likewise the ambience. The entire evening was characterized by live music and spontaneous dancing and singing by the waiters.
The entire evening was a complete success.
We'll definitely come back next time!

A lovely warm welcome
Food was amazing very fresh and good sized portions
I had seafood ravioli absolutely gorgeous creamy centre with lots of lovely clam sauce
My husband had the seafood mixed grill a lovely selection of fresh fish
There was live music on which added to the delightful atmosphere
We'll definitely be back before we go home on Wednesday

Absolutely a must-do culinary experience if you go to Sorrento. We ate the house bruschettone (never eaten made that way) and it was delicious, not to mention the Sorrento gnocchi. I couldn't not eat them right there in Sorrento. Top welcome and kind waiters. We will absolutely be back!

Tucked in an alley off the Piazza Tasso, Allegra is worth the trouble to find. We were there off season, only 3 tables going for dinner, but the owner made it all very special, fussing over us in his very good English. We had an excellent bottle of local white wine, Greco di Tufo. Food was simple, well executed. The highlight for us was the guitarist, a gentleman of a certain age who played and sometimes sang Italian songs and a little American pop. I tipped him 10 Euros and got more than my money's worth; he made the night just splendid. Maybe a little on the touristy side, but this is Sorrento, everywhere is touristy. We will always remember this dinner.

Off the beaten path but worth the search. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The home made ravioli is excellent and one can tell it is home made. Good selection of wines and dolce. We would eat here again if in the area.
