Taberna Persiana In Roma

My son and I had a very nice meal here and will definitely be back.

Since I’ve been away from Iran, I’ve established the habit of visiting Persian restaurants in every town and city I visit. Taberna Persiana has a cute and laid back atmosphere and a nice selection of tasty dishes. We ordered “Zereshk Polo ba Morgh” which is a chicken/rice dish and a “Ghashghaiee” which is a Kebab/Kabab dish mixed with chicken and beef. I have to say they were delicious. Here is my recommendation and observations: - Persian tea was brewed on the spot which is a good sign. It’s a must - Their “Mirza Ghasemi” is my number one favorite so far. All other ones I’ve tried elsewhere so far lack personality. This is a great dish for appetizer. - the bread that came with the appetizer was made on the spot and was warm.

It was the first time I ate at a Persian restaurant and it was a very satisfying experience. The place is small but characteristic. The owner is always friendly and available to give you advice on dishes. The dishes that arrived were all delicious. Highly recommended!!!

One amazing little Persian restaurant in heart of Rome. Bringing some of the Persian culture and food in Roma ! Wonderful staff, wonderful food, and great place

Very pleasant, excellent Persian cuisine, and a truly good tea

Excellent cuisine. Incredible starters, which have remained in your heart, very special main courses, the chicken with pomegranate juice is really good, I recommend ordering them during the pomegranate season. I recommend the yogurt and mint drink which is not on the menu, but ask for it!! very good and refreshing The cuisine is very particular, but truly delicious, not too far from ours (even close if you are Sicilian), good for the first external explorations. Prices are not low, but justifiable, it is a rich cuisine. The place is also a kind of cultural center, full of books and objects and even on the menu there are interesting curiosities about Iran, the country. t a much longer history than what we know now. I'll be back for sure.

Very good food and nice service. We got the appetizers quick with our beverages and also the food. Would really recommended this place. + they were playing persian music and had a very nice atmosphere - wouldn't hurt to have a sign out or something, we barely saw that there was a restaurant there and found it by accident

Buon cibo, location tradizionale e famiglia di proprietari gentilissima . Non conoscendo le pietanze ci siamo affidati a loro nella scelta ed è stato tutto ottimo. Gli antipasti da mangiare con il pane tipico, il riso con il pollo e la grigliata mista a dir poco sensazionali. Porzioni abbondanti e ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo . Andrò per provare altre cose

Siamo andati in questo ristorante senza troppe ricerche ed ora, a posteriori, posso solo dire di aver fatto bene. Sapete perché? Perché è bello di tanto in tanto sorprendersi, perché si mangia benissimo e la signora (probabilmente la proprietaria) che ti accoglie e serve è una persona deliziosa, perché i prezzi sono onesti e l'ambiente tranquillo ed accogliente. Prima ancora di iniziare ci hanno comunicato di un problema al pos e che in mancanza di quest'ultimo potevamo pagare con un bonifico visto che non avevamo contanti. In quanti si fidano di un pagamento di questo tipo che può essere revocato appena voltato l'angolo? Questo la dice lunga sul modo di gestire le cose e vivere la vita. Grazie ancora.
