Chaotic place, it's a challenge to get a simple coffee at the counter, tired, annoyed and unkind staff. Which is reflected in the service. Sin.

We had a snack with an empty brioche, a pistachio brioche, a jinseng and a Moroccan (price €10.10) certainly a little expensive, but the location is nice. Kind and friendly waiter, if I can make a note on the food, the pistachio brioche only tasted like cream, there must have been 0.001% of real pistachios.
We will return perhaps to try the aperitif.

The central location with many tables outside would be a real gem....the service, however, leaves you somewhat disappointed....not a smile...not a good morning....it's a shame

Locale molto fine ed elegante,offerta varia di dolci, personale abbastanza gentile, consumare al banco è una impresa per il passaggio delle persone, per lasciare spazio ,giustamente,ai camerieri per le comande. Una delle ultime volte che ci sono stata,le tazze del the non erano state ben lavate ed erano sporche di rossetto, mi è rimasta una brutta sensazione. Il caffè è nella norma.

Sono stato a prendere un ottimo e squisito caffè al banco di questa storica pasticceria elegante raffinata di cucina tipica francese ed ubicata in pieno centro a Genova in Piazza Matteotti.
Ci sono diversi tavoli sia interni sia all’aperto con vista sulla piazza.
A differenza di altri commensali il personale è stato accogliente competente cordiale ed il servizio attento rapido e prezzi buoni.
