Excessive prices for the food offered. I recommend not covering the flavor of the dishes with cream (in the tagliolini with prawns and pistachio the flavor was completely covered by the cream).

A restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere in the heart of Taormina.
Shaded tables and friendly service.
We ate an antipasta plate with mixed appetizers, olive oil, and bread. This was followed by three wonderful pastas (pomodoro, carbonara, frutti di mare) all heavenly, juicy and rich in flavor - this is Italy itself. We drank white wine from the offer. We spent 2 hours here, it was the highlight of the wonderful trip to Taormina. Thanks a lot!

Very good gluten free pasta and pizza, and really cute spot! Even if you are not coeliac, you should try this restaurant, the regular pasta and pizza are also amazing (or so I have been told).

It was a great all-round package. We ate there twice during our stay. Pizza/pasta/fish and drinks are very tasty, fresh and well prepared there. The staff is very warm and also very accommodating in English. We paid around 75 euros for two people, which we think is a reasonable price for the food, the wine and, above all, the atmosphere (to which all the staff and the owner without exception contributed). It is important that the guest feels comfortable. The boss remembered us on our second visit and came to our table and greeted us again, really very attentively. We'll definitely see each other again on our next vacation here :)

Wonderful restaurant with the kindest and friendliest staff. We had some of the best fish (the salt cod salad was divine) and a range of excellent wines and were even treated with an almond liqueur at the end. Highly recommended if you visit Taormina

We went to this Osteria al Duomo on the recommendation of our Host. The owner welcomed us by offering us two glasses of sparkling wine for an aperitif (offered by the house). We had a fried fish and a tagliolini with prawns and pistachio, both good, but the fried fish had something more than the tagliolino. Generous portions. In the end we had 2 cannoli and 1 coffee. Before paying the bill we were offered two limoncellos. In total we spent €60. Recommended for those who visit Taormina and want to eat well without spending too much.

We came for dinner and ordered caponata, a pizza dish and a pasta dish. The caponata was the best we have had in Taormina, however the reason for 3 stars is the atmosphere, service, and the pizza.
The atmosphere was strange, we had a seat next to a patio heater which was making a horrible noise all evening, and the staff were a little dismissive.
My pizza was so overly salted and burnt I couldn’t finished it.
Overall we wouldn’t return as there are so many more beautiful and friendly restaurants in Taormina with far better pizza.
