rosticceria la pineta In Cisternino

We were there this evening with friends. The appetizer of bread, cheese and house made cured meats (salsiccia, capocollo, etc) was really good. We also ordered steak, sausages and bombette (not sure how to describe these but they are super good meat roll ups with cheese etc inside) You select the meat and it is roasted right then along with potatoes. So you get baked potatoes that are kind of crispy on the ends. Yum. We ordered a green side salad and a couple of beers. I wanted to order house made liqueurs (limoncello, grappa) but did not have room. It’s located right across from the Pineta (pine tree) parkette. It’s easily accessible right beside the old historic part of Cisternino; the big difference being there is parking right there. It was delicious. Highly recommend.
