Very special place, different service than usual and very friendly staff! Very good food, recommended!

This place deserves a five+ star review. Their food is creative, healthy and comforting at the same time, well balanced, and so flavorful. Simply amazing. They serve natural wines and have a great selection by the glass. They had at least 15 bottles open the two times that I went there. The staff was helpful and polite. English speakers would do well here.

We had a fantastic experience. Great wine, great food. Loved the cheese and fish sauce with polenta :) I'll totally recommend it.

Beautiful atmosphere with great quality! A beautiful experience

Everything absolutely fantastic. A menu so varied and particular that it makes you want to come back the next day to taste the other unique dishes with totally different combinations from each other. The only micro flaw in a culinaryly perfect evening, at the end of the evening the clothes smelled too much of cooking.

The concept of this place is London-style small plates to share. Some dishes are really good (leek, meatballs) some others lees so (spicy chicken) but still averagely good. Portions are really small. Nice selection of natural wines, though a bit high on the price scale. Service was friendly and attentive. The lack of 1 star is for two reasons. First, service was too quick. There was no time to finish one dish that the next one was coming. I felt pushed to eat fast. Second, price. It’s probably 15%-20% more overpriced than what I’d be happy to pay for the meal. Would I be back? Maybe, though surely not too soon. Would I recommend it to friends? Probably, but explaining all the caveats above.

The food is delicious and the staff is friendly

We had the most fantastic experience at Rost! We decided to drop by last minute and were thrilled that they could squeeze us in at the bar. Sitting there gave us such a cozy, homey vibe, and we even got to chat with the friendly staff. From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the attention to detail in every corner of the bistro. The interior was charming and inviting, setting the stage for a perfect evening. But let's talk about the food – oh my goodness! It was like Spanish cuisine with an Italian twist, and every bite was a flavor explosion. The creativity in each dish was impressive yet comforting at the same time. And can we talk about the hospitality? The staff made us feel like family from the get-go, and we left feeling like we had made new friends. Honestly, Rost, you guys deserve a spot in the Michelin guide more than any other place we've visited in Milan over the past 10 days. We can't wait to come back! ❤️

Concept molto interessante e divertente: ordini tutte le “tapas” che preferisci e ti arrivano in ordine casuale. Non ci sono le regole formali di un servizio classico e l’ambiente é rilassato e informale. Preparazioni ben eseguite, note di merito alla lattuga e ai dolci. In due 113€ senza vino, ma ordinando praticamente tutto il menù. Torneremo presto

Il locale si trova in via Melzo, zona che negli ultimi anni ha visto il prolificare di localini alla moda più o meno interessanti. No saprei come definire il locale in oggetto. Arredamento caldo e semplice, personale gentile e propenso a spiegare la filosofia della cucina, cosa non da poco. Tuttavia non credo di ritornare, in questo caso sicuramente non per demerito del locale. Vini naturali, anche no.
