Riva Restaurant In Bari

We were disappointed with this site. Their star dish is pasta with peas and mussels, inedible.

My wife and I stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant after looking at their menu online. We did not have a reservation but the staff were gracious and accomodated a nice table near the kitchen doors. We found out that they change menus and what had originally caught out eye wasn't available. We were pleasntly surprised with new menu and this was the BEST MEAL I HAD IN ITALY during our trip.

Elegant restaurant with few seats. Balanced and well-executed cuisine. A non-obvious wine list with an interesting opening on natural and/or biodynamic wines. Trained and very knowledgeable dining room staff. Overall a place where you feel good. Ps. For many but not for all

I had lunch in the outdoor terrace of the Adagio restaurant, pampered by the excellent service resulting from the kindness and professionalism of the dining room staff, while tasting dishes with a unique flavour. The external atmosphere is exaggerated, one step away from the famous Perruzzelli Theater and the seaside area.

Absolutely perfect. Dishes that remain first and foremost in the heart. Excellent raw material. Professional and welcoming staff. Cozy place, away from the chaos. Excellent cellar. The description of a rosé wine that we didn't know made us immediately empathize with whoever proposed it to us. From that moment on, total trust began. Careful and measured direction. Attention to the customer. Online price. To be returned immediately. Well done. Keep it up

Locale facile da trovare con il navigatore. Parcheggio assai difficile intorno al locale, specie di sera, perchè è in piena zona movida. Sale al piano terra senza barriere architettoniche. Personale competente, professionale e simpatico. Menu fisso concordato per tutti gli ospiti, con variazioni proposte per intolleranti, allergici & co. Servizio molto veloce. Sapori buoni ma non irresistibili. Entree insapore. Simpatico l'uovo con tartufo e creme, primo piatto con pasta leggermente cruda. Maialino con sedanorapa molto tenero ma arrivato un pò freddo. La cosa migliore è stata il dolce, dove la crema al cioccolato speziata con olive nere caramellate, zuppetta di frutta e meringhe semisalate è stata davvero una splendida sorpresa.

A unique experience to absolutely try

I had dinner at the Riva restaurant and it was a nice culinary experience. The dish that impressed me the most was the crispy egg which I absolutely recommend. The focaccia served between the starters was a pleasant surprise. The location is very well kept and elegant and the staff is very kind and helpful. Dining at Riva means dining in a nice place while feeling at home.

To conclude our holiday in Puglia in style my boyfriend and I reserved a table at the beautiful and spacious terrace of restaurant Riva. The service was very friendly and made sure to take care of all our needs. We felt very welcome and enjoyed every minute of our meal. The terrace is beautiful indeed, but it's the food that really stands out. Every dish is a well thought out combination of flavours, beautifully presented. We also loved the wine we had with our meal. Highly recommended.
