Conservo un ottimo ricordo di una cena di inizio 2024 in questo bel Ristoro in campagna. Rustico, famigliare, caldo e accogliente. Piatti con materie prime locali preparati in modo genuino e di cuore. Tutto buonissimo. Atmosfera conviviale e festosa, servizio giovane e preparato, impeccabile. Nelle vicinanze è presente un bel parcheggio. Un posto informale dove fare un bel pasto in compagnia (in coppia o con amici è comunque perfetto), frequentato da molte persone "del posto". Prenotazione vivamente consigliata. Non hanno menu cartacei, ma i piatti disponibili vengono recitati a voce dai camerieri, probabilmente perché la scelta cambia molto spesso (anche se avere a disposizione una lista permetterebbe di avere più tempo per ragionare e scegliere meglio, almeno per i clienti più "problematici"). Non fate i "milanesi" e non vi preoccupate per i prezzi: è la sorpresa finale e non vi lascerà certo andare via "a bocca amara". Non vediamo l'ora di ritornarci! :)

Farmhouse in the heart of the Umbrian countryside where delicious homemade dishes are prepared. The first courses are a revelation, with handmade pasta exactly like the ones the "grandmothers" prepared. The cheese and cold cuts platter is also delicious and the lamb coratella is exceptional. The staff is friendly and helpful. Adequate prices

Stumbled upon it by chance during our trip to Umbria and we couldn't have been luckier. More than excellent food and impeccable service (despite the very full place) the best restaurant of our entire Umbrian holiday

Ristorante immerso nella campagna umbra con piatti tipici locali e non solo. Ambiente molto conviviale, informale, con personale simpatico e disponibile. È possibile mangiare accompagnati dal proprio cane e si viene accolti da pavoni e simpaticissimi gatti.

Trattoria di campagna con buoni piatti fatti in casa tra i quali,per cominciare,affettati e crostini con torta al testo. Poi sempre come antipasto delle ottime melanzane fritte poi messe sott’olio(ottimo l’olio di frantoio). Cappelletti in ottimo brodo per mia moglie ed uno spaziale rollè di pancia e pancetta per me (si scioglieva in bocca)accompagnato da patate cotto sotto la cenere. Zuppa inglese e tozzetti per finire. Vino della casa piacevole. Servizio di Martina impeccabile e piacevole. 35 euro per mangiare veramente bene.

07/04/2024: We stayed in the "Chiusa di Pannone" apartment, very large, very comfortable for 5 people (2 rooms, one of which is triple, with separate bathrooms and hydromassage tub). Equipped with all comforts, furnished in an elegant and rustic way at the same time. Equipped kitchenette. Fantastic stay!
17/03/2024: Arrived in the heart of Umbria for dinner and welcomed with kindness. After the excellent buffet we would have already been set like this, two first courses and two second courses with house wine, then desserts and coffee. Truly enchanting location. We appreciated the very friendly service.

07/02/2024: Tried it in the summer. We conclude our food and wine journey in the wonderful Umbria with a pearl and with what turned out to be the best restaurant of these 2 weeks. The Cellar is a truly beautiful place, it seems to be carved into the rock, but you can also dine, as we did, in the beautiful outdoor garden. As the name suggests, the underground cellars, in addition to being truly beautiful places worthy of a visit, are also the protagonists of what is a very respectable wine list, with proposals that range across our wine offering. We had dinner with a Sagrantino from a rather new producer in the rich Umbrian panorama, Tenuta Bellafonte and their Collenottolo 2010 was truly fantastic! The dinner began with their kindly offered entrée based on tomato soup with various small pizzas (with Cannara onions and coppa), which was very welcome. Our choice went for an egg on potato cream, foie gras and black summer truffle. The dish was delicious: an exceptional balance of aromas and flavors. We then shared another appetizer because their offer of cold cuts was really too tempting and so we opted for a trio of excellent cold cuts, consisting of: patanegra joselito cut with a knife, sublime! wild pork ham aged for 6 years and speck from Val d'Ultimo Enrich Poder (from Trentino). The dish was accompanied by oven-baked goat's ricotta with truffles. Also in this case the unanimous comment was totally positive. Finally, I had an exquisite Chianina tartare with truffle, while my partner chose an excellent dish of truffle tagliolini with duck ragout. The dinner ended with some creme brulè for me and a tiramisu for her. Both dishes convinced us. The service was impeccable, helpful and professional. The chef stopped by our table several times to explain the dishes and give us advice, all in a very discreet way. In short, the place is highly recommended and the detour to the beautiful village of Cerreto di Spoleto is an absolute must.
02/01/2024: Luigi and Christine know how to lead you with simplicity and a pinch of refinement to discover the typical materials of the area. A place to recharge and indulge in good food. Advised!
