Ristorante Zu In Riva di solto

Very, very small portions like in the Master Chef program - a quarter of a potato in a dish with chicken, a tiny piece of eel, two small portions of duck. The flavors of the dishes are very refined and specific, some not to everyone's taste, such as risotto with sardines - I personally didn't like it. The eel is very fatty. The duck is more raw than baked. Well, maybe that's the beauty of this restaurant. Everyone raves and we complain. The staff did not inform us that the duck dish contained foie gras, duck fat. We are against animal abuse. Knowing this, we would not order this dish, especially since this practice is banned in most countries. The dishes were presented very aesthetically and looked just like in the photo. The service was polite. The interior and surroundings of the Zu restaurant complement the amazing panorama of Lake Iseo. For us, this is the restaurant's greatest advantage. The prices at Ristorante Zu are quite high. Dishes around 30 euros and above, beer 20 euros. Parking is available at the restaurant.

Totally satisfied. Beautiful inside and out, friendly and attentive staff. we took the tasting menu (7 courses) for €75 each. and it was very much to our taste: the courses had a nice presentation and the ideas behind the dishes were very nice. All the dishes of the tasting stood out for a well-balanced note of acidity, which we love. In the end we were satisfied with the location, the price, and the food. Too bad they only have one restaurant... we want you in Milan too

I have been a customer for years, space restaurant both in terms of location, very kind staff both in the old management and in the new one, in the hands of young guys not to mention the space food. It remains the best restaurant on Lake Iseo, highly recommended!!

Mi sono prima letto quasi tutte le recensioni già pubblicate e ho notato che i "locali" (molti sono amici dello chef , però) ne parlano in modo entusiastico, i turisti leggermente meno... noi frequentiamo questa splendida Location da anni , ed effettivamente vi è stato un cambio di rotta tra la precedente gestione e l'attuale. La nuova effettivamente è rappresentata da giovani entusiasti e pieni di voglia di fare (concordo con l'osservazione riportata in alcune valutazioni, gentili ma non da scuola alberghiera)... la cucina, ottime materie prime, gli abbinamenti validi seppur "coraggiosi" .. durante pranzi "standard" ! Quando invece debbo affrontare i grandi numeri, forse, peccano in esperienza.. mi spiego: se fai uno spaghetto limone e bottarga di lago per 3 persone e lo trovi equilibrato... e poi devi rifarlo per 40 persone , non puoi gestire matematicamente le quantità e pretendere che risulti altrettanto bilanciato, se lo fai (come hai fatto) il limone prenderà il sopravvento, ma non va considerato un errore da matita rossa, ma da scarsa esperienza... per il resto, secondo me, bravi , volenterosi e si stanno sicuramente facendo le ossa.. e tra poco tempo, secondo me, anche la famosa guida "rimetterà" lo zu tra i consigliati in zona.

Splendida location con vista panoramica sul lago. Ristorante con portate eccezionali. Chef bravissimo. Servizio impeccabile. Ottima esperienza.
