Ristorante Tipico "El Tobià" In Vigo di fassa

I always enjoy visiting El Tobia. Walter is the manager who always ensures everyone get the best service and experience. Love this place.

Nice place, but in my opinion high prices for the dishes served

Located in the center of Vigo di Fassa, El Tobià is one of those places where you can stop to delight your palate. The friendly welcome makes you feel at home, and from the first steps inside the restaurant you can breathe the typical air of Trentino, with the ceiling entirely in wood and the walls full of decorations, not to mention the splendid cellar corner. Once at the table we treated ourselves, on the owner's advice, to an aperitif with carne salada produced by the restaurant itself accompanied by a flute of local sparkling wine. For the first course I opted for the poker of dumplings, highly appreciated as they are not the classic dumplings but revisited in 4 different versions, accompanied by a heart of Fassa fondue which, pass the term to me, is the death of it. To accompany it all I chose a Weiss beer from the selection of draft beers. We will certainly return for the excellent value for money and to savor the flavors of the Trentino tradition.

Really typical and not the classic to please tourists. It's good and you eat well! It is certainly interesting to hear the history of the place and the family from the owner. 😃

Very atmospheric place, good food, stiff service, but it's worth visiting this place.

Small but charming place. Warm and welcoming, furnished in a particular mountain style. Waiters trained and dressed in traditional clothing. If you pass by, order the large platter... a sight to see and eat. We have now tried everything on the menu. We have been going to them for three years now on every visit to Val di Fassa. The only negative point is that parking is a nightmare, as it is right in the center of Vigo. If one can make a mini criticism, it would be nice to find something new on the menu every now and then, especially when you go for many years in a row, but really everything is extraordinarily Good. Book in advance because places sell out!!! Ask for a good beer, and don't skip dessert because you'll regret it!!!

Tipico ristorante del posto con cucina tipica, un'atmosfera molto cordiale e caratteristica ma al tempo stesso elegante. Il ristorante propone cucina tipica altoatesina, molto buoni i canederli ma abbiamo apprezzato molto anche il tagliere di salumi e formaggi tipici. Conto nella media, servizio veloce e attento.

The typical restaurant El Tobià has now become a fixed stop during our holidays in the mountains. So much so that we are always willing to take a detour on our route, whatever our destination, to stop and taste their delicacies. Let's start from the location: in perfect Trentino style, very warm and welcoming; the staff is always courteous and attentive to customer needs. The menu offers a good variety of dishes to satisfy every palate. The online version also provides a faithful illustration of each dish; impossible to have surprises 😉 (in my case also useful to remember the appearance of the dish, given that "gluttony" never gives me time to observe them properly 🤤🤤). The dishes are taken care of down to the smallest detail and of excellent quality: I personally love their homemade carne salada carpaccio. It's really worth tasting. Another highlight in my opinion, the homemade tagliatelle with wild garlic and porcini mushrooms (my belly made a hut every time). The beers on tap are also excellent, there is something for all tastes. I highly recommend stopping by and visiting them!

Ritornati dopo un anno a cenare in questo locale… Prenotato prima e messi subito a sedere. Location carina…ma voto basso per il camino finto nella sala…. In alta montagna!!! Stinco di maiale bella la presentazione ma al gusto quasi bollito e non croccante. Nel complesso...
