Ristorante Sa Mesa In Milano

Sa Mesa is a traditional Sardinian restaurant in the heart of Alghero with both indoor and outdoor seating. Under the waiter's strong recommendation I ordered the lobster linguine off the menu of the day. I think the best I've ever eaten, half a lobster from which I got a lot of pulp, fresh linguine with a slightly spicy sauce without covering the flavor of the lobster. Also classic pig with potatoes and for dessert worthy seadas. Good wine, impeccable service. The staff is very friendly and lets the passion they have for catering shine through. Fair value considering the generous portions.

Came in very late due to a delayed flight. Despite the kitchen closing the chef was kind enough to rustle me up a couple of plates of seafood at the last minute. Very fresh fish, traditional Sarda bread and excellent wine to pair. The homemade grappa was delicious. Thanks for feeding me at the last minute 🙏

An authentic oasis of Sardinian cuisine, offering delicious dishes and fresh fish. The cheese, personally, the true protagonist, is Sublime!!! Courteous service, the welcoming interior with the stone room and the adequate prices make the experience more than positive, despite the parking being not easy to find, I recommend it for a culinary trip to the fascinating Sardinia!!! Congratulations to all the staff!!!

Went for dinner during a business trip. It's nice that as soon as you sat down they brought carasau bread! I got grilled calamari and they were really good! The restaurant is simple but characteristic, with many references to Sardinia. The staff is very friendly.

Evening in company dedicated to the Sardinian pig, requested in advance. Tender and tasty meat. Simple but tasty cold cuts appetizer. Easy going place, a bit small so booking is mandatory. Friendly and helpful staff. I will return to taste the fish offering.

Very good food, each course carefully prepared, generous portions, not very elaborate but very genuine and tasty in an authentic way. In hindsight I would have avoided a series of appetizers that were still tasty and good but which jeopardized the choice of a second course with no more appetite. Extremely friendly service, I would say almost familiar as if you have known them for a long time. Normal prices adapted to the quantity, quality and freshness as well as obviously to the fact of being in Milan. Reservation is also strongly recommended. I will definitely come back

Un’esperienza davvero appagante sotto ogni punto di vista. Le nostre aspettative sono andate ben oltre la semplice conferma: la cena in questo ristorante sardo è assolutamente consigliatissima. Il locale si presenta molto semplice, ma, ad essere sincero, il primo impatto mi aveva un pochino messo sul “chivalà”, nel senso che entrare e trovarsi due televisori accesi sulla partita mi ha lasciato perplesso. Però poi devo dire che il loro impatto è stato pressoché nullo: il volume era azzerato e i commensali completamente disinteressati dalle immagini. Veniamo al cibo: semplicemente una goduria a cominciare dai buonissimi Lorighittas, pasta fresca intrecciata, che io ho preso nella versione riccio e bottarga, la mia compagna ai frutti di mare e mio figlio ai crostacei. Un commento? Rispondo con una domanda: ma come si può aver vissuto 49 anni senza aver mai mangiato questa pasta? Credetemi che nonostante di ristoranti ne abbia provati davvero tanti, anche sardi, devo dire che non mi ero mai imbattuto in questa delizia. Bravissimi. Per la cronaca anche gli gnocchetti alla campidanese del mio figlio più piccolo erano gustosissimi. Proseguiamo poi con un rombo all’oristanese, cioè con olive e vernaccia che abbiamo preso io e la mia compagna: piatto molto delicato, ben equilibrato e di ottima qualità. I miei figli si sono gustati un fritto misto davvero buono. Dopo un assaggio di pecorino sardo, delizioso, la mia famiglia si è buttata sui dolci. Io che non ne mangio stavo giusto pensando che altro piatto gustarmi, quando all’improvviso, la proprietaria mi ha fatto una proposta che realizzava il mio sogno culinario della serata: il porceddu al forno!! Infatti questa prelibatezza è disponibile, ma solo su prenotazione perché viene preparata ad hoc in quanto necessita di una lunga fattura. Fortunatamente nella tavolata che l’aveva prenotato non si era presentata una persona ed ecco che la gentilissima proprietaria mi ha raggiunto e proposto di chiudere la serata con la porzione che mi ero ormai rassegnato a rimandare per un’altra volta (che comunque ci sarà!). Il piatto era squisito e fantasticamente preparato: carne tenerissima, umida e con la cotenna croccantissima che era una delizia. La serata è stata accompagnata da un ottimo Ruinas 2022, un Vermentino in purezza di Depperu, pescato da una discreta carta dei vini che ovviamente ha un fuoco particolare sulla Sardegna. Personale accogliente, il cameriere che ci ha serviti molto professionale ed empatico. Primi piatti ottimi, il loro cavallo di battaglia sono le lorighittas ricci e bottarga e sono deliziose, formato di pasta fatta in casa difficilissimo da trovare e dal gusto unico. Tolgo una stella per le seadas, che non ricorderò. Tornerò nuovamente a provare altri piatti!
