We had dinner at this restaurant over the weekend. The fried foods and desserts are excellent, but it's a shame about the tasteless fish first courses. The environment is very nice and quaint and the service was very good. There is also a large selection of wines.

Nice place, efficient service, The food was good, we went on January 8th for lunch, we showed up at 1.40pm without a reservation, I recommend it.

Cenato per l’ennesima volta in questo ristorante di Peschiera Borromeo: staff molto professionale e cortese, ambiente distinto, cibo più che buono. Squisita la gallinella alla siciliana (con capperi olive e pomodorini), molto saporito (quasi troppo salato) lo sformato di carciofi e patate con fonduta di zola invece. Con lo sconto The Fork del 20% si sono pagati 38 euro a testa (con coperto, acqua ed un bicchiere di vino).

Very welcoming, private and elegant place, trained and professional staff, very kind and helpful owners. At Portolano Mediterraneo they know how to take care of the customer, pampering them and making them feel at ease. I recommend it, and we will certainly be back soon

Ci siamo stati a pranzo con un voucher di Groupon. Menù di pesce di buona qualità, ricco antipasto, primo o secondo a scelta, dolce, caffè, acqua e calici di vino. Merita il ritorno.

15/05/2024: I was last week, and I must say that more than a restaurant it seems like a village trattoria....with city restaurant prices....unprofessional staff, which doesn't mean not friendly, but given the restaurant prices , I expect an equally qualified outfit, not jeans and tennis shoes, with a semi-dirty black t-shirt. The food is of "normal" quality, and does not justify the price....in my opinion it is not worth the money spent
13/05/2024: Tried it yesterday and ate well. Excellent starters, first courses and second courses. Super Fiorentina. Prices normal.
